  • Both groups are giants in their genres and amazing in their own right

  • Still the best video on youtube

  • Ohh shit!!!

  • Great match as Massive Attack is on the very gritty side of Trip Hop. Similar goals achieved through different musical means.

  • /.

  • very good [=

  • duuuuude, you got this on mp3? i'd love to have it

  • i don't really get what you have supposed to have done here.

  • this video makes more sense to meshuggah than to massive attack. :O

  • @beatshack

    exactly what i thought!

  • @Destiwana

Meshuggah itself can't be awful under any circumstance.

    My video may be ;)

You know...opinion...and what is said about it... ;)

...and why haven't you watched my "closer-remix" (the movie) instead of this?

  • WOW THIS IS AMAZING GREEEAT JOB :D

  • meshuggaH (!)

  • @frontkoch007

yeah, as I wrote to a guy who also noticed my typingmistake:

unfortunatly you are right - highly embarrassing ;)

  • I dont know what Meshuggah is but im sure loveing it!

  • WIN!

  • Now i want to check that other band (Massive Attack).

  • I had to click on the M A song alone to hear how it was 2 different songs. This owns.

  • 5/5

  • @stopglobalswarming I miss the stars too U_U

  • fucking sweet

  • Darth Maul!?!?

  • Great job man. Two of my favorite bands combined!

  • Actually this song can be found as a bonus track on Contradictions Collapse. That's where my mp3 version came from.

  • @Chameleonizer

true, actually i bought the EP "None" back in 1994...crazy how long that's already back now...

  • @sarakaster

crazy? Man, i was fucking born in 93, its beyond crazy. it might just be one of the most frustrating things to ever happen in my life that so many of the bands i love have brought out so much material while i was an infant. it means i have to catch up a whole shit load of gigs now aha

  • @nubzaquer

hey you can now pick the best of best out of that forbidden-dirty-rotten-fruits of hell ;)

go for it! ;) then found a band and show us the your generation can too rock tha shit! ;)

  • @sarakaster

ahah im already in a band, though i dont think we'll be rocking anyones shit. certainly not mine atleast. we play power metal. I DONT LIKE POWER METAL.

  • @nubzaquer

    lol buddy ;)

Get a band that plays what u prefer, dammit! ;)

Life's too short ;) Job comes, career, wife, kids and suddenly

no time for anything anymore ;)

    DO IT NOW! ;)

  • @sarakaster im living in west yorkshire away from anyone who might want to play what i want to play. im fine with it anyway, the guitaist in my band is really great, and when we write songs i can just play what i want to the track and it always sounds fine, and a lot more interesting that just regular power metal beats too.

  • Well, it isn't a butterfly. It's a moth. But uhh good job ;O

  • Comment removed

  • fucking exellent.... i love it

  • wow this is great man. the song fits the video so well great job!

  • Interesting mixture ;-) Nicely done

  • Best video on youtube

  • @ninjadais Agreed. Very well done. Besides him mispelling Meshuggah at the start of the video. >(

  • what can i say...guitly ;)))

  • fits perfectly. from which album is the meshuggah song?

  • Hi and thx!

Its from there album "None" 1995

  • It's from the "None" EP of '94. :)

  • @BenniMuzak The EP None released in 1994. This version is instrumental, though.

  • @AltForNorge01

yeah and it took me really somethin to make an instrumantal out of it! ;)

  • @sarakaster Well, you did a damned good job, mate! lol I've had it as the video on my channel ever since I first saw it.

  • just great and your put the instrumental part of the song so well, love this video mix, so strong, good job!

  • your nuts massive attacks not metal... there a whole different genre! but this is pretty cool. even tho Its not really messugah and massive attack combind. but rather playing a song with the actualy music from the video on mute.

  • Man, This is really awesome, great job, Can I have the remix? you kick ass, try some more Meshuggah stuff

  • thanks

well, don't get me wrong massive attack songs like future proof and inertia creeps, antistar are just awesome. But butterfly caught is just not my thing and for the vid is so strong (too strong for the orig. song) that it just needed something that fits!

  • well, in my opinion the original song is much better.

I love Meshuggah, but cannot compare the two bands.

Massive Attack's sonic experience is unique and deserve appreciation, I think they are the best producers.

  • Hey dude! nice Remix!

  • Absolutely Superb!!!

  • gorgeous

  • SIIIIIIIIIIIIICKKKK!

  • i never would've thought to combine meshuggah and massive attack...... but wow! it really makes sense!

  • actually by watching the original video of MA "Buterfly" I though the video is vidually WAY to strong for the song itself.

Than the search for a fitting song began...and than the cutting and remixing of meshuggah began ;)

  • very fckin well done :) i actually want this song loll

  • the song or the remix? ;)

  • remix :D original song humiliation by meshuggah aint so hot :\... this is far fckin better lol

  • sorry humiliative :s

  • if you want the remix as mp3 send me a message here ;)

  • Dude I'd really like to have the MP3 remix of this! where and how?

  • seriously, i want those markings as tattoos, bad ass god damnit!

  • the beginning is just haunting.

  • Two of my fav bands. Nice work.

  • Interesting. Well done.

  • 3:38 Major Eye twitch!

    haha

    I dont get this vid

  • the video does not fit to the music...

  • Amazing

  • This is so sick. Nice work.

  • this is ART

because its interesting and pointless :S

    2 fantastic bands, nonetheless!

  • Una obra maestra!

  • love it great work!! *****

  • bravo muthafuqa

    doitagain asssssshhhole ole!

  • both bands kick ass at what they do respectively... massive attack is great for chillin out... meshuggah kicks ass when you are rocking out

  • great song

    great vid

    awesome mix

    good job bro, like it...

  • Really amazing ^^ I loved it.

  • they made a great pair.

  • it fits perfectly together, hell yeah

  • very cool

    BUT

you have forgotten the h in meshuggaH :)

  • unfortunatly you are right - highly embarrassing ;)

  • Awesome Job!! :D

  • good job! :O

  • Cool mix, you should make more !!

  • i want that tattoo for the complete body...awesome mix

  • Holy shit dude, this is fucking amazing.

  • More than a good job...

  • good job

  • Holy shit fucking balls, killer fucken job, this looks like a legit video fit!

    \m/

  • Very nice mix indeed. Noticed the cuts when the guy in the movie was about to sing. Could've made the cut a bit earlier to cover that? Or did you want to leave a "twitch" effect in the cut so it would seem more "freaky-like"? :)

Check out my video with Mr. Oizo's Flat Beat video and Meshuggah's Bleed song mixed :)

(original lenghts: video about 3mins and song about 7mins)

    I liked this video a lot :)

  • how did you "remix" it? did it from scratch with similar samples? nice job :P

  • On the contrary, i had nothin but the feeling the result should spread ;) Especially when you have to work with completed material, the material and your own workflow is settings the limitations. I tried to remixe "Humiliative" to a intrumantal only, without letting it sound pieced together and loose dynamic - that was damn hard. I managed it with multitrack editing. The next challenge was to reduce the vid of "MA" to non-singing scenes only. The rest came out of the process ;)

  • You've got talant. There was some minor things you could have done a little better, but still it was nice. Keep up the good work!

  • This is the most metal thing ever. Surprised its for Massive Attack and not an official Meshuggah vid.

  • thx man, had to see this vid from massive attack combined with the pure power of meshuggah - some kind of diabolic-divine combination now.

  • good work
