I know that this is not the live audio, but her background singers could have had a better blend, a softer tone in some areas. I love the live orchestra. Outside of the good ole organ, this is the best form of accompaniment in my opinion. Such fullness!!

I love Kim Burrells gift! She is vocally amazing that's obvious! I just can't get past the fact that she seems so disconnected when she ministers. Like she relys on her vocal talent alone to get her through. She barely ministers a word at all and her body language is that of a rehearsal and very "lets get this overwith". Just sayin give me moore than just the gift and riffing all over the place.

AAAH-MAZING! I couldn't hold my seat as Kim wailed on it. Holy Spirit fell on me and as she soared I soared! I had the privilege of playing with Leon Lacey's orchestra at thus concert and I felt God's presence in the music and I became a true instrument of God's Handiwork. All praises to Christ Jesus and bless Kim Burrell!

That run at 5:38 was just IGNANT lolol how u gonna start a run on the 6, then go to the 5 , do a run down in the MINOR scale of the 1 (adding only 1 extra note) but make it sound like u was singin in the MAJOR scale of the dom7 from jump.... It's no question in my mind that Kim is a musical genius. Her precise timing and her ear for music is out of this world. Examples of that are 1:13, 1:43, 2:14-2:18, 3:11-3:16 and 3:58 was just ridiculous! And she really expresses her jazz style around 4:42, then brought it home @ 5:00. This woman is amazing, none like her!!
