  • nice i have two baby gtp's

  • I created a site, showmyreptile com, where you can upload pics, videos, start discussions, chat w/ other members, and start groups. Looking for members, would love for you to join. Thanks!

  • it sucks when the camera doesn't focus

  • Wow, this is a very pretty one. I thought they only came in bright yellow with gold markings. Man that color is gorgeous! It looks so unreal. Like mica powder (used for cosmetics) and gold leafing. Yeah so I'll be getting one of these also. I'm just trying to study a bit more before I make the purchase, not to mention it's cold as hell here so it may cause problems with shipping an Ectotherm. Can they co-exist with other species?

  • really un beauty dude ;)

but u need a little bit more flowers etc. just an tip ;)

    Mvg,

    Max

  • how old is she ?, you shouldnt touch until about 6 - 8 months theyre spines are very fragile

  • yea dude i just got a biak about 6 months ago..... it was a yellow neonate, i have a red tail boa and a couple amazons but i have never even seen anything as aggresive as my biak haha it will strike at you if you come near her and it will strike at the glass if you piss her off... lol how did you go about gettng her off her perch? im not afraid i have been bit before by other snakes i just dont want to injure her, i just kinda want to start getting her used to me! thanks man nice vids

  • dood dat thing is sexy

  • These red Biaks are absolutely wonderful to view. Such a striking and vibrant snake. Good luck Pjar81

  • due this shits old, make an update

  • so cool

  • I still love the attitude lol! this is one of my fav vids you have posted.

the whole "Oh no you didnt just touch me!" head move is priceless

  • haha the ball pythons like hey... hey.... hey...... heyyyyy.... whats going on over here?... whats going on over here? someone tell me WHATS GOING ON OVER HERE???!!! lol

  • cool vid hey man do u know how to tell what type of gtp it is?

  • Wow what a nice looking snake!! There my favorite type. Green Tree Pythons are so beautiful!!

  • too much air ciculation...plexiglass with holes drilled on the sides is the way to go,espacially for juvis

  • i had a burmere and reticulated python along with a jungle carpet python and a red tail boa all in the same huge custom built tank the burm and retic got way to big way to fast so i had to give them all away back in 2004.. im thinking about keeping it easy now maybe getting a green tree since they dont get so huge but i heard there nasty and cant be tame but if i was able to tame a nasty reticulated why would a green tree be harder?

  • beautiful python

  • haha........highly addictive

  • green tree pyhtons are the best.

  • lol shes like "bi*ch did you touch me!?" eautiful baby you have

  • LOL

  • the viv is not very good.

  • ...I hope u use a spot too warm up the tank...cause I dont think a underheat map is going to be too well ...in this case.

  • nice gtp how much did u pay for him or how much do they cost? plz reply because im looking forward to buying 1

  • i see them at reptile shows for $225

  • @cowboys9455 really? the biak's sell for 390-420 gbp here in uk

  • yea im here in georgia and at the repticons they have great deals i mean i got an albino boa for only $200

  • @metalmanmatt : in my country they are as cheap as 30-40$ when converted to USD...on the other hand, corn snakes are sold for about 10 times that price

  • where can you buy a green tree python

  • its not a cage , cages have bars, its a viv

  • Your Biak is GORGEOUS! 5 starz on your precious gem! My aru gtp just laid eggs and I cant wait for them to hatch 33 more days!

  • where do you buy this kind of accesory perch?

  • good shit just put a 1 chubic feet of glass on top you will see that it will keep the humadity

  • beautiful GTP!

where did you get the cage?

  • I didnt mean anything bad by it bro...None the less, atleast you dont keep them in a rubber made bin like all these other little kids are doing, just because breeders do it and they want to cut cost to have somthing they care about in a piece of shit cage.....Keep doing what you do man and screw all the littile pricks on youtube that run their mouth.....

  • Thanks alot! I just dont like how everyone thinks they know everything an the internet. I know alot about my snakes, but I am never above asking questions or for any help on stuff im not sure of. I dont just go around posting up bullshit on other peoples page acting like I know it all!

  • Geckojimmy should change his name to GAYiCANTspellORtypeRightjimmy... And the only thing i dont like about your setup is your tank...You should get a custom cut piece of plexy glass to cover the top areas of where you dont have your light so you keep the proper amount of heat and humidity. But other than that, I love all Chondros, so to hell with anyone who has somthing to say when i bet they have to ask there mom to buy them one and they leave it in a rubbermade tub......fags

  • If u watch on of my other vids i explain that this vid was taked the night i brought her home. I cut a piece of plexi to fit on the inner lip of tank and it covered a little more than half. She is now in a huge exo-terra and soon to be in a Boaphile custom aboreal set up. Humidity has never been a problem, she has shed one soild piece everytime since i brought her home.

  • Kids Like me? how old are u kid, Im 29 years old! I dont care how common the snake is in the wild I payed what I payed and that is all there is to it. You look like your 12 years old...... KID!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah im all about publicity! No respect for reptiles what so ever. Thats why all I own is reptiles and breed them too.Nothing makes me happier than comming home from work each night and handeling a different animal. You are the one leaving unwanted comments on my videos. And how was my comment disrespectful, you called me a kid and all I said is you look like a kid.

  • @ConservationBoy Oh that comment is a year old but your arrogance still shines to this day. You're not intelligent. Stop trying so hard.

  • @ConservationBoy

Ordinarily, I'd just leave this alone because it's been a year, but 1) you say in your profile you want to be a herpetologist, and that's noble, so 2) your original comment was so head-grabbingly bad I thought I'd correct you.

    1. Morelia viridis is not native to Florida, where pjar81 lives. So "common in the wild" is a poor description of them unless you're proposing he go to New Guinea to get one...

    2. ...Which is in fact a terrible idea. (con't)

  • @ConservationBoy

(con't) 2. Wild harvest of reptiles for the pet trade is terrible for all parties involved. Hobbyists get frightened, sick reptiles that are impossible to domesticate or feed, and loaded with parasites & liable to infect their other animals. Reptiles get taken from their native environment to die. The wild population is reduced in size. Captive-bred animals pose none of these problems, even if a hobbyist has to--gasp--pay for them.

    & 3. $400? That's pretty cheap, all told.

  • @tesseractseraph

stfu lol no one is goin to come to this page and go shit u know what that asshole down there bitching about the pet trade is right i should change my ways lol, dude im all down for having an opinion but going to the gay parade with an i hate fags flag is just ignorant understand ? so in short go hug a tree where the people who care might see ...

  • @ebolateralus

I was going to write a reply, then I realized you're not making any sense. Lol.

  • @ebolateralus like a fucking bawws!

  • She was 400 dollars and worth every penny of it! once I get my new camera cord I will post what she looks like now. Lots of nice green comming in.

  • just a few ?s 1st ? does ur biak bite a lot or is it very aggresive and how much did u pay for ur green tree python, and one more how much are those exo terra tank thx a lot if u answer these thank u

  • (it will not be humid enough for the snake with that screen lid since it is letting all the moisture out.)

thanks for the concern but this video is almost a year old and was filmed the night I brought her home. She is in a exo terra now and is changing color quite well. I actually put a piece of plexi glass that fit on the inner lip of the tank over half of the tank to keep in humidity. She has shed one solid piece every shed since I brought her home so humidity has never been an issue.

  • it will not be humid enough for the snake with that screen lid since it is letting all the moisture out.

  • they also incubate their eggs as well which is quite amazing when they say that snakes have a one track mind and dont think

  • i would say you sure can cross breed them. mainly because. BIAKS ARE ALWAYS YELLOW AS BABIES.

  • Biaks Are not always yellow as babies. I know 3 other people that have at least 1 biak that started as a red neonate. I have even seen them in a maroone type of red soo dark that it was almost brown. All GTP's can be yellow or red it depends mostly on what the parent looked like as babies.

  • amazing colors

  • no they cant but when they r little the are either red or yellow i think

  • sometimes come in a sky blue ;-)

  • o really i didnt kno that

  • yea its a beautiful color they come in..go on google images..and put in chondro in blue and get a bunch of pics of them

  • yeah they are usually red or blue when they are born, i have also seen then sky blue in colour as adults. they look pretty cool in any color though lol

  • hey, i was wondering, can you cross breed different types of gtps. say a sorong and a biak? beutiful little guy you got there btw

  • Where did you get it?

  • I got him from a GTP breeder in south florida. He produces some beautiful green tree pythons!

  • i live in south florida whats the guys name lol ive been everywere looking for one lol thanks man peace out beautiful biak btw

  • looking everywhere for what? a biak? I know a family owned pet store in casslebarry that is mainly reptile focused and they have a ton of gtp's and they coul probably special order you a biak if they dont have one

  • nah...for a sorongtype gtp but I found a place I can get em for 300$ :) Thanks though man

  • Awe Biak, I have an aru female and male sorong adults. They bred year before last and had 16 babies and I have started br.eeding them again this year so hopefully I ll have a good size clutch. I am going to try to get a pair of Biak GTP's sometime!

  • very nice cages an d a beautiful Biak-Baby!!

  • Thank You! I have changed the cage up a little since then and will post something new for you guys. Is your biak able to be handled without too much trouble? Mine is getting better and better every day.

  • thanks! she has not bite me in like a month. she is really starting to come along. She just finished shedding and is absolutly stunning. colors are soooo bright.

  • i will find out for you. He dosent get them too often cause he says he only wants healthy good looking snakes. she has never refused a meal for me yet. She is very dull colored right now and she has been for a week so im sure she is gonna shed and I cant wait to see how bright she will be after that.

  • Thanks! I agree that GTP's are one of the coolist snakes you can own! Cant wait for her to get big and change color.

  • I got him from a buddy that owns a local reptile shop. He got him from a local breeder that is a friend of his. He does not always have them in the store cause he wont buy garbage. Other shops will always have them but they will have a ton of stuck shed etc.

  • beautiful snake, who did you get it from.

  • Thanks. Im sorry for the crappy footage, I will have better stuff on soon and thanks for commenting.

  • very nice little biak!!!

  • Very nice Biak-Baby!!
