Is it just me or does it sound like people will die on that tower? No railings, bungee jumps, that car thing... How did Health and Safety pass it when they discourage hanging baskets invade you get knocked out by one?
I hope it gets cancelled. I'd love to see new skyscapers built and large sections of Birmingham demolished, but honestly if they just built a nice big park it'd be better for the city than this white elephant, it's looks like such 1970s concept of futurism.. and that doesn't bode well for a city that already made the wrong move in trying to be a sort of 'motor city of the future' like Detroit.

Now if he had said do that to say black people, then he's racist. But he didn't did he. He insulted a religion, not a race. Hence he's not racist. Its not really 200m though is it? Its got a long spire on the top that makes it up to 200m. I could put a 300m stick on my house, but that wouldnt make it the UK's tallest building.
