Since you have obviously never been there not even in sports in high school, or you would understand. A good part of it is physical conditioning, These drills are designed to push you to the limit of your endurance and then some. then here they are rolling for a considerable distance continued next post

@HazugmondoBorasz if your even close to being ready to puke you will after a dozen or so of the rolls. Part of the problem is inner ear, hereditary thing. The rest of it is attitude and conditioning. Good shape, concentrate hard, you greatly increase your chances. Excellent condition better chances, good genetics, better chances. A good percentage will still puke. Supposed too. Having to perform under adverse conditions lesson. Works huh.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's only 6 months to become qualified and earn the tab....then immediately after you go into additional courses (eg Language training, etc). But you'll be full fledged in 2 years (or whatever)

For the people that are calling these guys weak because they are puking, I saw the whole show when it was on several months ago. This was the first event in the Green Beret selection course. They took them out to the pit like at 3 in the morning and they just PT'd them relentlessly hour after hour. I forgot how long they kept them out there, like 6 or 8 hours, just smoking them. I wouldn't call anyone weak who blew chow after going thru all that.
