  • R.I.P. batman and boy wonder :(

  • I love the fact that Batman parked in the red zone when he went into "get" the Penguin. To show he was really turning into a criminal. It would have been even better if he had parked in front of the fire hydrant.

  • Oh wow! The penguin quoted the Jabberwocky. I love him even more.

  • blimey this episode's been a little more dramatic than normal for this show. i used to assume the joker was batman's deadliest and most cunning foe, but from what ive seen so far, id say in this series those titles go to the penguin and maybe catwoman

  • wild! WILD!

  • The Batcycle you see at 3:52 of this clip was different from the one used in the 1966 movie and the second and third seasons of the TV series.

In the Batcycle used in the movie and Seasons Two and Three of the TV show, the sidecar had a go-kart that could be ejected so Robin could ride to the right-hand side of the Batcopter at Gotham International Airport while Batman in the main part of the Batcycle parked on the left-hand side of the Batcopter.

  • who in the world has bullet proof shoes!?

  • That was beyond amazing when Batman and Robin "snapped"! Batman jumping into the room going "RAAAHH!!" * trails off into laughter *

  • who the fuck has bulliet proof shoes!!???

  • I love how the public on the streets are just standing around, wondering what the fuck is going on.

  • Hearing Burgess Meredith utter, "Curses, curses, Now we have to fight another round," made me think of his role as Mickey, Rocky Balboa's coach.

  • Whale oil! They've evaproated! LOL

  • LOL, I just love Chief O'Hara.

  • The penguin always comes up with the best schemes. A lot smarter than the riddler or the joker.

  • You would think that if they were using real bullets that they would just pull out the Bat Shield and the bullets would be useless.

  • Burgess Meredith: Best Penguin EVER!!!

  • what's the point of bullet proof shoes?

  • @SUPERMEDIABROTHERS6 Obviously, to stop bullets. :-)

  • Batman and Robin are still GUILTY of attempted Burglary. They should go to trial. They had NO legal recourse taking those jewels. Even if they could prove their intentions, that wouldn't hold up in a court of LAW. What message did this episode convey? That Batman and Robin are above the law?

  • Extra points to the Penguin for saying "Oh frabjous day, callooh callay!"

  • @DrRandomness your right he should get double bonus points

  • How shocking! Even though it might have been "edgy," the series would have made a stunning impact if Batman and Robin did die at the end of the series this way. I can just imagine how intense that would have been, especially if the Penguin had finally found a perfect way to successfully engineer the end of our caped crusaders.

It really did look like the end for our faithful heroes. Those police and people looking over the "dead duo" just add so much to the tragic scene. End of the story.

  • was batman drinking milk?

  • Yes he was

  • whoa.

  • Well he's a non-alcaholic drinker, so that makes sense.

  • im confused? they used revolvers and there were obviously more than 6 shots but no reloads....plus how can a cop be such a bad shot?

  • Why is it that only the soles of their feet are bulletproof

  • Well kevlar is kind of thick and heavy to wear all the time isn't it?

  • Batman and Robin killed by the police? How

    dreadful!

  • It looks like they were pasted on at 8:53 and the penguin was wheezing at 8:48.
