I've been waiting since March of 2010 for the beta that was suppose to come with my Splinter Cell Conviction. Now that my gold expired i feel that i should get it for free since its required for the beta that they delayed over 1 year! Its been like 5 years since the last ghost recon, this will be good. Its not like they sell the same game every year with no new features like some developers do... And those idiot consumers come flocking to it. You know what they say, its quality not quantity.

Yeah, it was firefight. Was it? Idk. That was so fun. It was the first tactical shooter I had played and it made me think differently about how to play a shooter. I kinda like the idea. Light-machine guns were not meant to "kill", but to suppress the enemy, either for your forces to move forward (or backwards) under the cover of the light-machine gun fire. The game just mimicks what the LMG is supposed to do. Most games that have lmgs miss this and the purpose of the gun is lost.

i really dont agree with the combat camra shaking when someone is shooting at you behind cover. In real firefights its just the weapons recoil that does that but this game makes it shake violently when it really shouldnt

@bulliish This is the alpha MULTIPLAYER...the single player is always challenging and fun and always feels like the older ones. Also, suppressing fire and flanking light machine gunner fire and stealing intel doesnt sound tactical to you? What the hell do you know about the Ghost Recon experience.

Ubisoft has always paid great attention to the PC platform so I think you should wait and see before judging it before you even see any evidence of it being 'broken'...
And if still it's that big of a concern just buy a 360... it's a lot cheaper than buying an equivalent computer with the same gaming performance.

@RaYk1LL3r Aim assist? That's like only in Halo. Aimbotting is in PC as well Joysticks are just as accurate, if not more than a mouse. And 360s don't break fast lol, you're talking about the first model which was very prone to overheating unlike the newer models. I had a 360 that red ringed after maybe a year of use but it was the first model and I had it in a hot location. I've since then owned another 360 and now a Slim and have had no further problems other than my crappy internet connection.

Mousesandanalog sticks are just as accurate as the person and what they are used to, but for most people it is harder to aimwithan analog stick. Also, aimbot is illegal in PC games

But you're right about joysticks and mice, I'm used to joysticks now and I couldn't use a mouse to aim with especially where I'm used to my laptops' trackpads. I'm not a big PC gamer, mostly because I get laptops for mobility and can't really afford anything with the raw muscle of playing high-end games. Also, my internet sucks. I haven't been a PC gamer really since Mechwarrior 3 and NFS3. =P

@killershrimp101I did see that, but the demo at E3 2010 was only a piece of a level just meant to show off what they had so far. The game saw pushed back repeatedly and then Ubisoft didn't say anything for a long time about the game to the point where people thought it got cancelled. Now they have more videos and info about it which is good but at this point I this video to be just as good or better then what I saw 1 year and 2 months ago at E3.
I hope either this or battlefield 3 destroy cod. im so sick of that shitty gaming engine that hasn't changed since the first call of duty modern warfare game. Also hopefully this game won't attract gamers of an average age of ten.

@m4nh4m3r i just thought that they need a little bit of a nudge in some areas of their game engine to help push it along a little bit because it hasn't changed much at all for ... 4ish games because infinity ward and treyarch keep fighting about stuff. and battle field has only had 2 games using the new frostbite engine but they are using frostbite 2 for the new one im not sure if its going to change much but they used other engines from fifa games for smoother movement and stuff.

Ghost Recon began its life as a first person shooter. After GR:IT, it changed to OTS view in an attempt to net SOCOM fans.

@RaYk1LL3r How can you already tell that if you haven't even seen gameplay of it... and GR has been popular since before GRAW. Only the GR2 games weren't on PC but who cares? Ubisoft has always paid great attention to the PC platform so I think you should wait and see before judging it before you even see any evidence of it being 'broken'...
And if still it's that big of a concern just buy a 360... it's a lot cheaper than buying an equivalent computer with the same gaming performance.

@RaYk1LL3r Aim assist? That's like only in Halo. Aimbotting is in PC as well Joysticks are just as accurate, if not more than a mouse. And 360s don't break fast lol, you're talking about the first model which was very prone to overheating unlike the newer models. I had a 360 that red ringed after maybe a year of use but it was the first model and I had it in a hot location. I've since then owned another 360 and now a Slim and have had no further problems other than my crappy internet connection.

@stickmanbrains Most FPS games on consoles use slight aim assist, and every popular game uses friction which slows the reticle down when it goes over an enemy Thisis not a badthing it gives console players an almosteven playing ground (I sayalmost because wedon't know sincenot many cross-platform games have come out). Mousesandanalog sticks are just as accurate as the person and what they are used to, but for most people it is harder to aimwithan analog stick. Also, aimbot is illegal in PC games

But you're right about joysticks and mice, I'm used to joysticks now and I couldn't use a mouse to aim with especially where I'm used to my laptops' trackpads. I'm not a big PC gamer, mostly because I get laptops for mobility and can't really afford anything with the raw muscle of playing high-end games. Also, my internet sucks. I haven't been a PC gamer really since Mechwarrior 3 and NFS3. =P

Assassin's creed is the other way around and the tory is main but CoD or battlefield for instance have a story and okay CoD mw has a pretty good story but you can tell it's just there as an add-on because CoD or BF just aren't games based on their singleplayer but their multiplayer experience

@killershrimp101I did see that, but the demo at E3 2010 was only a piece of a level just meant to show off what they had so far. The game saw pushed back repeatedly and then Ubisoft didn't say anything for a long time about the game to the point where people thought it got cancelled. Now they have more videos and info about it which is good but at this point I this video to be just as good or better then what I saw 1 year and 2 months ago at E3.

@m4nh4m3r i just thought that they need a little bit of a nudge in some areas of their game engine to help push it along a little bit because it hasn't changed much at all for ... 4ish games because infinity ward and treyarch keep fighting about stuff. and battle field has only had 2 games using the new frostbite engine but they are using frostbite 2 for the new one im not sure if its going to change much but they used other engines from fifa games for smoother movement and stuff.
