i had to put my Black lab down on Christmas eve on 2010 bless your heart i have a German shepherd black lab mix and she is starting to get very weak im not looking forward to seeing her go its a lot harder when you grow attached i offer my condolences

in other videos of tank i saw comments of people saying that he is not a purebreed gsd , obviusly he is a purebred gsd only he has no stood ears ,,he has a huge head , im sure he was a very powerful dog and your best friend ,,

Thanks for your video. It reminded me of my childhood friend Flecki, a beautiful white Pommeranian with a black spot around one eye. She brought so much joy and love into an otherwise lonely and sad childhood. She used to sit on top of the stairs everyday waiting for me when I came back from school. She died ot cancer at age 15. I know when I die, and go to heaven, or whereever, there will be Flecki sitting there waiting for me.

This will be the case with your beautiful Tank too.

Sure it is, it´s a Long Stock Coat German Shepherd Dog and it`s one of the many variations the coat can take, depending on many factors.

It does not mean it´s a mix or that its not purebreed.

It´s not like there´s only the standard GS .<.<

Thanks, trust me, i fight tears every time i watch this, i miss Tank more than i can ever express. I dont remember the name of the song, i just kept scanning through Youtubes audio selection till i found a song i felt would fit the video, if i find out again i will def let you know. Great video Chris. Poor Stanky Tanky will be missed by all. He was a great dog that had a lot of love. You can at least take comfort in knowing that no one could have gave Tank a better life than you gave him.

Oh man. Sorry for your loss. I wish dogs lived as long as cats. We have 2 part chows that are about 11 and 12 i think. One of our cats is 21. Don't know how much longer the cat has but the dogs should have a couple more years. Even though i was bitten by a German Shepherd when i was a kid i always wanted one because of their loyalty and brains. I got Cellutis from the bite but i felt bad for the dog cause my uncle kicked the crap out of him. Great tribute video. R.I.P. Tank.
