  • purple hair? what the fuck

  • As much as I love Thom Hartman, his interview style SUCKS! STFU and let the guy tell us what he thinks we should know! Its not just Thom, so many interviewers are like this. They ask never ending questions, to show all of us how freaking smart they are.

  • Guys!this has been my ultimate argument of all time,I have seen my life pass me and I still live it,I watch my son behave the way he naturally does, nature and nature?its both?your taught if your lucky but you will always behave the way your gonna be,just try to notice along the way

  • My hat's off Doctor; I really really like the notion that our ancestors cared about and helped more than themselves. Good Job Thom for promoting excellence - keep doing the work...were listening.

  • This kind of interview should last at least 30 minutes.

  • So more sex and less war.

  • I've always felt that we are naturally neither. Good to know that science backs up that feeling. :)

  • I feel the same too. This is the first study I've read that suggests that we aren't 'wired for destruction'. I loved the book, I highly recommend it!

  • This book is exactly the type of thing I love to read. There is nothing better than scientific knowledge to dispel the myths of 'commonsense' assumptions and oft repeated claims of 'truth'.

  • I really want to read this book it sounds like a fascinating piece of work, but I was caught off guard by 3:24 -- Look carefully.

  • so that lead us to believe that as species become more intelligent they also become more violent... which would support professor hawkings' opinion that if we were to encounter extra terrestrial intelligent beings who are more advanced than us we should be aware because most likely they would be hunters

  • @zayadnay It is private property and class society that causes war. If you are a king or capitalist and you are sitting on your high perch with mountains of land and what not you are competing with others of your position who will take more property to over take you. Classic prisoners' dilemma, so you take more. You sit on your high seat and have no real connection to those below you, so you don't really think about the death you cause. This is reaches it's high point in capitalism.

  • @ipwnorcs you are correct and that is what i believe is happening with the rich... i do think that they have a responsibility to be more knowledgeable of the effect of their wealth on others but i do understand how if you don't actively try to educate your self at all times you will become ignorant and not be in touch with every body else.
