Agree with candian75. last full blown definitive thrash album Dave was able to put out was Peace. Not a fan of SFSGSW and although RIP is a masterpiece, I consider it speed metal. Everything they put out after that isn't worth mentioning.

With that said I've heard the entire album and I'm definitely not impressed. Definitely the weakest of the four since he got back to his old roots. (System Is Failed, United Abominations, End Game, Thirteen). In order from my favourite to my least favourite.

Huge Megadeth fan but I'm finding the same trend with the new Megadeth albums. Blistering song writing but awful, horribly cheesy lyrics. I remember back in the day when Dave would write some of the greatest lyrics in metal history. Now he seems lazy and more content to concentrate on sweet riffs. Again not so much of a bad thing, but if he's going to take on this new (or rather old) style, I would love to see less lyrics in the songs, alla: Peace Sells... But Whose Buying/KIMBABIG

@m12w1 Dave Mustaine didn't 'leave' Metallica. They kicked him out. He made Megadeth originally as a rivalry to be better than Metallica, then he got over his grudge, although still pissed about it, and now they're friends. Difference is, Metallica started going shit after St Anger was made. Megadeth continued to make perfection. :}
