It's funny how every single large-scale game for Star Wars tries so very hard to be the last movie made.

I mean, HOW many times has the Jedi Order and the Republic been overthrown/exterminated now?

I'm counting at the very least 5 times, all SW media considered.

Honestly, the Republic should just...STAY fallen.

Poor Jedi: they can never do their job right, and Sith never seem to be able to keep the Republic or Jedi fallen: they destroy everything and then die later.

What I was saying is how the Sith seem to overthrow or nearly overthrow the Republic quite frequently in galactic history, but their in-fighting problem really fucks up any long-term plans they seem to have: they always end up stabbing each other in the back.

Jedi are supposed to make sure that the Republic never falls in the FIRST place, which they aren't always very successful at: the Sith often succeed, even if only temporarily despite their efforts.
