This was during the days where big name actors alone didn't carry the game :) Sure there are notable actors in this such as James Earl Jones but there was a flowing story too :) Sadly in Red Alert 3 they went out of their way to have lots of well known actors like Tim Curry and many more but to me all those actors were really only there to encourage people to buy it; god I didn't think much of Red Alert 3's cutscenes; why the Red Alert universe had to become cheesy I'll never know :S

@Damocles178 Tiberium Wars felt more like Battlestar Tiberium: Lost Wars to me as well. They focused only on the FMV videos, not even the story, just the cinematics. I wish they had let Westwood continue making games like they wanted to. Maybe those would have been bad but at least they'd have gotten a chance.

I personally feel the opposite. I'm not however saying TSun & RA2 suck the only C&C game that's earnt that title is Renegade.

I've never been big on the RA universe but I've found RA3 a suprise and I feel an improvement for the RA universe. This is however only my opinion and I don't judge those who think differently.

As for C&C 4 I'm very eager to see how it looks and seeing if it can beat TWars. (I also hope I win the naming rights competition but we'll see)

allow me to compare (and NOT diss c & c):

tiberian sun: has awsome technologicalized units

Red Alert 2: has a nifty unit promotion AI (its where if they get enough kills they promote to sergeant and can cause more damage n fire twice as fast)

Real War-Rouge states: has buildings and units that are real in REAL LIFE like the F-22 Raptor or the B-2 Spirit
