hello I am thinking about having surgery , I had hair loss due to some kind of autoimune disorder... I have heard about the hairloss asociated with the surgery ... have you experience any hairloss, if so did the hair regrow? and how? I am very worried about it.

@madintx2010 Hi! My hair was always very thin and I did experience hair loss between months 4-7. I cut my hair short and have been growing out since. It has grown back a lot, maybe a bit less than before, but that is sort of the trend for the women in my family anyhow. I have a friend who used those "fill in" wigs and liked them a lot. I was very worried about it too, but the small inconvenience is not worth the difference the weight loss makes in your health.

Thanks Rainy! They are just little pictures I take on my webcam all the time, I know it's kind of narcissistic but I find it good to look back and see how far I've come. :)

Hi! No, I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I just had my surgery in Henderson because that is where the surgeon I wanted has his practice. It's cool because when I come to Vegas for the M&G, I can do my 1 year follow up with my surgeon, which most people don't really get to do. :) Thanks for the supportive words! I love the YT WLS community! :D
