Jim was the man... @Skole I dont know why you would compare the two... Tosh is awesome, but they dont do the same kind of comedy... this was WAY before Tosh and Jim is the reason we have shows like that now... he started this shit. I miss the soup. McHale is pretty funny but I miss the good ol' soup days =)

I didn't start watching until Joel McHale was the host, and I love The Soup, but I love watching clips of Talk Soup too.... I like the kind of weirder (in a good way) feel of the show due in part, I think, to not having as much of a 'laughing crew audience' as on the current show.

I loved John Henson! I used to watch the soup regularly when he was the host, and a little after when sparks became the host. I saw some eps with Kinnear, but Henson was the funniest to me. Thanks for posting these videos, I haven't been able to find them anywhere else.

John Henson was GREAT! I watched him all the time. I don't know what kind of career decision he made after this but it obviously failed! Although I think Joel McHale is equally as funny as John Henson. Aisha Tyler was just bleh, that's when I stopped watching it.

Also, You can see John Henson hosting one of those shows where the people run around the obstacle course and epically fail the whole way through but makes you Lol.

This was Talk Soup @ its best. Aisha tyler came a 1/4 of the way close, but none could trump the funk of the skunk. They don't even do skits (those were the highlights!--err, unintentional pun!) "The Soup" of today is merely "The Shadow" of past greatness.
