I gotta say many engineered production ink pens really just look like crap most of the time. I do know there's plenty of people who could make these kind of pens by hand but they don't consider it for some reason. I much prefer mechanical pencils though, i'm often taking notes. (Staedtler 925 25 for the win)

I use Mont Blanc at home when I write formal stuff, and when I am at school and do assignments and stuff I usually go the Uni-Ball Vision Elite, the Pilot G-2 07, or the Pentel EnerGel Gel Ink. I love pens :). Although I lost my Mont Blanc :(. IT WAS THE BEST PEN EVAR!!!

you should try a montblanc from the 50's or 40's they have soo soft nibs and you you write with an M nib like with a B or a BB because it's really flexible :)

Ponzi--try a Pentel Energel RT (retractable) 1.0mm pen, if you can find one. They are made in Japan, about $2 each, and are sublime! Not same as a MB pen, but truly sublime.
