  • i didnt know about kenny everett & his comedy genius till one day i was watching a russell brand interview and he made a reference to kenny everett. i looked him up via youtube and i must say i was NOT disappointed a bit. thank you all you kind ppl who uploaded KE clps for ppl like me to enjoy.. cheers!

  • It's not about the guys sexuality it's about the laughs and Kenny always played for laughs he is greatly missed a brilliant comedian and showman

  • great days!!

  • gay icon

  • ery good effect for the time its still funny i remember it

  • very funny

  • sounds like justin timberlake

  • I know he was gay and before my time, but.... PHOOOOOOWWWWW He's cute

  • I had to beg and plead to be allowed to stay up late enough to watch Kenny Everett. Then hope a parent wouldn't come in whilst I was watching as he was usually doing something suggestive or scandalous.

  • Does anybody know how tall Kenny was?

  • i remember growing up in england, lived there from 73 till 90, Kenny was the, and still is the funniest, never understood why benny hill was so popular here in the states, Kenny was way funnier.

  • Great stuff

  • so sad-so talented--ahead of time--yea he wouldve loved the web/internet

  • Can you imagine what Kenny could've come up with for the internet had he been around?

  • I second that comment! Even my mother remembers Kenny Everett!

  • The best funny guy ever ...I never missed any of his video shows. I wish you could get his video shows on DVD I would get the whole collection :)))) Kenny wherever your spirit is thanks for all the laughs you where one in a million xx

  • the Bee Gees sketch - classic Kenny!

  • Just remembered Kenny was a Tory. Still, nobody is perfect.

  • Classic kenny, havent heard this in ages

  • brilliant mr everett.

  • I'm pretty sure Kenny changed that joke later to "massive chew sets"... His Bee Gees just walked on and sang that one line :-D

  • it goes to show that a person so dedicated of finding this

vitage clip and posting it on this site for everyone to watch

and enjoy Hawkins1989 done an outstanding job of finding

this video and it is great and i thank you.

  • The Gibbs are such miserable bastards they couldn't see the funny side of this. Brill Ken, you were a star

  • @Jindypops Absolute rubbish. They were good friends and they found this stuff hilarious. He was a guest on their "This is Your Life" show after all.

  • this is absolutely flawless.

  • The man was indeed a genius - especially if he did all the singing in that clip.

I wonder where Jenny Jamx is getting his/her ideas from. I'd like to refer him/her to a famous quote from Derek Jarman - "Understand that sexuality is as wide as the sea. Understand that your morality is not law. Understand that we are you. Understand that if we decide to have sex whether safe, safer, or unsafe, it is our decision and you have no rights in our lovemaking."

  • Charlie says...

  • That's impeccable timing. Shows what a legend he was, and still is. I salute Mr Everett.

  • @FATBELLYJONES1 And you mate, are quite ignorant. Do you read the Daily Mail by any chance?

  • Are all three Bee Gee's played (somehow) by Kenny E?

  • a+ i havent seen this in years .a total genious and think how hard it must have been to do this type of video editing back then

  • Kenny e

What a loss to a bad ass genius

    Respect from Stoke

  • @redwhitch17 Totally agreeeeeeeeeeee ,,,Kenny was pure LSD

  • The audio for this was recorded by Kenny, himself, in his department in London using reel-to-reel audio tape machine. Over-dubbing was his hobby, and he always sets up a station where ever stays. He took the tape to the studio just to give them an idea he had in mind. The recording was so good they used it.

  • pure genius how he pulled this scene off the real

bee geeswas blessed at this sketch infact they

thaught it was funny but kenny reminds me off

robert englund aka freddy kruger but pure genius though.

  • OMFG! Major flashback! Thanks for sharing this!

  • I love Bee Gees

    but I gotta say

this video is freakin' awesome, funny and a little bit true

  • Stunning.

  • I been saying "great!......didn't they?" for years. Now I remember where I got the gag from. Good old Kenny. I think he deserves the term genius.

  • Genius

  • good eh?

  • He was so very funny and I wish they would repeat his shows on TV more often. I loved it when the papers finally figured out the joke with his daft actress characters name.

  • i love his tool shed sketch brilliant limbs coming off :)

  • Kenny was a comical hero who never stopped making me laugh his program on tv brought a new humour to the tv audience and everyone loved him. Watch Kenny everett video show and you will die laughing:)

  • This is sooooooooo fanfuckingtastically funny without being neither rude or mean. Kenny lives on !

  • Starting in 78 (& even the previews were gobsmacking) the first 2 series of KE's Video Show on BBC1 were essential viewing for all teens and *gasp* even the 'rents began to like it! Nearly 2 yrs before 'Not The Nine o Clock News' started, this was original "must-see TV" - brilliant comedy and eye-popping technology. But in late 1980, Kenny went to ITV after a bigger paycheque and with diminishing returns due to over-reliance on stock gags and Cupid Stunt. He well blew his load too soon - shame.

  • @krakenwave

you have that completely wrong. Everett was at thames tv until 1981 when he went to the bbc. he went primarily because thames wanted to schedule his show against top of the pops so he took his show to the corportation and made it for the beeb till 88

  • @dlamiss

I may have been wrong about his motivation *but who knows...?) but I stick by the argument that it had a pitiful result on the quality and originality of the show. The ITV Ken Show was just an over-indulged Russ Abbotts Madhouse ffs.

  • @krakenwave

but you were also wrong about the channels as well sir

he went FROMThames TO the BBC . the quality of the BBC shows declined dramatically after the first couple of years. Everett (in his autobiography)and Co writer Barry Cryer said they felt restricted at the BBC and lost a lot of the freshness of the thames years

  • @dlamiss

yes because at the time the bbc was going through a harsh

time because of the mary whitehouse movement was monitoring

every show on the channel to see if it were too risque to show

at peak time if the show was too risque it would have being watered

down or pulled of the air shows like monty python ended because of this

movement of television complainers but the itv got away with risque shows

and films but the bbc did not but now they make safe tv shows.

  • @FRANKIESHANOWSKIY2K0

Nothing to do with Mary Whitehouse sir- otherwise neither Not the nine o clock news of the young ones to name to name but two would have never been made,

substitute "freshness" for running out of ideas and thats nearer the mark. Everett made some brilliant shows but by the mid 80s his time had gone

  • KENNY WAS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST GUYS EVER THERE'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER THIS VIDEO IS PURE GENIUS

He died a few months later, bless him, I had no idea he wa

  • Kenny ...great British comedy ,,how i miss those days

  • god was funny at the time, some of it was i was quite young looking at it now u wonder if he was a bit unstabe but gotta admi i dont think he ever made comments or bad taste jokes,

  • LOL! I thought I heard ' Massive chew set' ! Never fail to make me laugh, this entire clip.

  • hahahahhahhhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahah!!!!!!

  • F***ing brilliant!!

  • This laugh track is overpowering. I can't even stand to watch this. What kind of moron approves a laugh track shouting down the actual jokes?

  • @MajorGeneralPanic

Blame the BBC. Kenny's shows at Thames were performed in front of a minimal audience consisting of the cast and crew. When he moved to the BBC, they insisted that the show was do be done in front of a live audience, although his first BBC shows were recorded in an empty studio and then shown to a preview audience to provide a laugh track.

  • awe lol clasisc kenny

  • lol mental

  • I know it's 15 years ago but I still find it hard to believe he's gone. What a talent.

  • This was Ken at his very best...i wonder who actually DID sing that backing tape!!

  • Sooo miss Kenny. Thought of this scene the other day and had to find it. So many years ago but still so brill.

  • There is only ONE Kenny Everett ; irreplacable

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! I watched this clip so many times and each time I found something funny in different ways. The outrageously talented Kenny Everett, miss him so much.

  • Kenny Kenny !! Unbelievable ; "revealing hairy chest and medallion LOOK" Lol

  • The one of the right reminds me of a lion with its fur around its head.

  • Fantastic! We love you Kenny

  • crazy ken @ hes best lol

  • ah the days before all this PC rubbish ruined comedy

  • as an american, i could not agree any more with you. yep, PC rubbish.

  • True mada

  • What does PC stand for? Apologies for the ignorance.

  • PC - Political Correctness (not being allowed to say something as it might offend someone)

  • @madabbafan

it allso means police constable in the british metropolitan police

and the other meaning is a personal computer

  • Oh i miss kenny so much, such a shame when he died. His show was so riske for the time especially when he had the dance troupe 'hot gossip' performing regularly. He was one of a kind.

  • look at the guy on the right at 1:19

  • Kenny was a genius. Such a shame he died so young.

  • my mum was good friends of his, hes a ledgend

  • What a nutter ! Wont see the like of Kenny again thats for sure

  • One of Liverpool's funniest ever comedians.

  • this is hilarious!!i remember watching this on telly and it still makes me laugh out loud!

  • Kenny was a comedy genius on radio and T.V. We miss him so much

  • MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA . . .

  • lmfao

  • this was great!

  • he was FANTASTIC !!!!

  • Cuts off the best bit at the end;

"I've been talking with the Bee Gees. Great, didn't they?!?!"

Miss you Kenny, one of a kind (^v^)

  • laughed my ass off!!!!!!!!!!

  • best Bee Gees impression ive ever seen, grew up watching kenny everett on tv, an absolute outragous crazy genius

  • I've been looking for this clip for ages. The last time i saw this was as a child when it was first shown on tv.Still very funny. Thanks for putting it on.

  • bee gees is very sucks !!

    Funny !!!

  • God bless ya Ken... you are sorely missed. The comedians on tv these days are not fit to lace your boots. R.I.P.

  • Kenny was pure, absolute

    genius, very, very sadly missed.

His genius will never be matched by

    anyone.

    Love you

Ken (& Freddie) whereever you are :D

  • I like the 'You can tell by the way I talk' part and the 'Ah ha ha' part! So funny! Brill!

  • What a genius! We used to sit as a family watching him and laugh our heads off...RIP Kenny.

  • haha it's so funny!brilliant!!!

  • All the Bee Gees praised Everett's take off of them. Saying how impressed they were he noticed lower, as well as higher ranges, which lesser impressionists always forgot.

  • Bee Gees is my favourite band band this is so funny.

  • i used 2 love 2 watch kenny back in the day,and his bee gee`s sketches were always fantastic

  • Absolutely side splitting...Kenny had great comedy talent this is brilliant.

  • There will never be another Kenny.

  • love the teeth!

  • They dont make em like Kenny any more! This is Brilliant and very clever.

  • fucking brilliant

  • MA-SSACHU-SETTS!! Haha, best part!

  • This is so fun =)

Bee Gees is one of my favourite bands ;-)

  • looks like BeeGeesLover84 has even less of a sense of humour as the real bee gees do.

I didn't think that was possible.

  • Kenny was a genius of comedy. We will never see his like again

  • I like the Bee Gees, and I also like this sketch -- in fact, I think this sketch was what got me into them in the first place (i.e. they remind me of Kenny Everett)!

  • what evr it is funny but i dont think it should akt like they think there mentle if they didnt asct like that i would watch it but sorry i dont realy think it is apropretet oh and dont say any think about my spelling

  • If you don't like it, don't continually come back here would be my suggestion. You've made your comment, why keep returning and making more? We get it. You have no sense of humour.

I enjoy this sketch, so I come back. I don't enjoy others, so I don't watch them again. It must be that crazy earth logic that I use.

  • this is the stupidest thing ever it is makeing fun of the bee gees they are the best group i love the bee gees this is so stupid

  • It's a joke. People with senses of humour enjoy them. Perhaps you've heard of this concept.

The joke does not decry from anything the BeeGees accomplished. Famous people are classic figures for satire. Etc, etc.

  • I know that was a long time ago tha i rote that i dont think that any more ok it is funny and i have a sence of humour ok.

  • if you hate it so much then

    STOP WATCHING IT!!!!!

  • I dont watch it ok so shut up i think it is funny so get off my case and dont wory about it it any more i just really like the bee gees abd i rote that a long time ago and thing for me change a lot in a 2 weeks ok so stop and dont wory about it any more!!!!!!!!

  • Ah, Kenny Everett was a legend. This is one of my favourite sketches of his.

  • i think that is so stupid you shouldnt make fun of the best peaple in the world stuid peaple.

  • "stuid peaple"???

Anyway, The Bee Gees LOVED this!

  • @BeeGeesLover84

the correct spelling is stupid people and apparently

the bee gees loved it if you thaught that was stupid

people who disguise as elvis should be stupid but i have

no convictions of people copying thier idols look at star trek

fans they live thier fave characters everyday if you were

offended by this why bother watching it then.
