  • He has improved a lot his technique. He is more properly powerful, and quick . I think that it is time to work now on the tuning, so that he becomes a wonderful and autodidact student. He can do it. The problem starts since he takes very difficult pieces and hard to play them and be tuned. So to my unprofessional point of view- he can take the harder parts and work them separately on the tuning to improve them.. Then he could play, only those worked parts. He has an amazing memory.

  • @Schtofenbach Thank you for your detailed advice.Your point of view is really profefessional. Believe it or not, I have made every efforts within my power to make him read the music but so far failed. He cannot learn music with his eyes but only by ears like some people who are suffering from "desultory reading" or "colour blindness". He is such a quick learner that he has re-practiced it only for a week or so since he came back from N,Y. That's why to become a cellist or not is a question.

  • keep the passion alive my wonderful friend :)
