Naw. Batman's so badassed (or is it Bat-assed), he can be both a pirate and a ninja. He's traveled the world and learned many school of combat.
All in all, I think it adds up to Batman being a ninja. Some here have said that he isn't a ninja because he's a detective, well to that I say why can't be be both?
