  • Man, she really pounds at a distance!

Too bad about the Ares 1, at least we'll still get the Liberty rocket.

  • @Tyrannobeast Ya it sucks that it was canceled. What is the Liberty Rocket I'll have to Google it.

  • @ZombiePowerDrink It's basically a commercial version of the Ares 1 that ATK and EADS Astrium are going to work on together (ATK's video explaining the concept is in my favorites). With NASA seed money, it should be ready by 2013, without it test flights are scheduled to start in 2015, although obviously it's already a bit ahead of the pack because it's had a test flight, and 2 test firings!

  • there is no denying that thing got up in a friken hurry

  • @BlackOpsFever You are so right try 4 times the speed of sound.

  • Nice video, great quality with 1080p! The Ares seems so fast, wow

  • Nice Resolution! Which camcorder were you using?

  • Hey Zombie. Thanks for the high quality video. Good sound with Mark Levigne's telemetry commentary very clear. Next time try to do a bit less quick zooming/unzooming. I got a headache... :[

  • @rss0246 Thanks and also sorry for the zooming I was trying to watch with my eyes and film at the same time. But its still my fault . thanks for the feedback

  • Crafty Ol Geroge Diller tried to throw off the crowd

    10 9 8 7.......hehe got ya you thought I say 6! pYCH!!!.

  • @Zoomer30 ha ha...ya

  • Kinda exemplifies the line from Apollo 13:

"A few bumps and we're hauling the mail"

  • why upload the video twice?

  • What do you mean I filmed this and uploaded it once it is 100% unseen footage that I shot myself. If you see another copy of the same video please send it to me.

  • About at 45% to 90% the video repeats itself. then the ending is different.

  • Ya I wanted to put up the second version where I practiced using the digital zoom feature with my editing software so I left it in even tho I didn't do that great of a job.

  • u live in florida ?

  • I live in Ohio 20 mins from Cleveland. My dad works at NASA and he helped build this so we got invited to the launch with VIP Passes.

  • This is WAY better then the footage I saw on the news!

  • Thanks

  • Awesome! Great View!
