i can see alot of ur guys talent mostly from the guys playin at uc and ohio state from colerain. goodman at WR and moeller making plays at LB/S hybrid. plus all those defensive studs. truly one of the most dominating teams ive ever seen at any level.
This was one of the best high school football teams ever, in any state. Ohio football already is one of the top 4 states in the country when it comes to high school football (Arguably in any order: Texas, Ohio, Florida, California). This team dominated DI Ohio football, outscoring opponents in the playoffs 191-22! That includes national powers Cincinnati Elder, Cincinnati Archbiship Moeller (who beat Cincinnati St. Xavier), and Canton McKinley. Wow! That's all you can say about this team.
Our defense still would have been dominant against a good throwing team. And even if we didnt stop them we would have still won cuz noone could stop our offense... I was on this team my senior Year!!!!
If I remember correctly, Moeller did not call a running play the entire game. They actually completed a very high percentage of their passes against Colerain, but only average about 4 yards per catch. You couldn't go long with Eugene Clifford roaming back there as free safety.
well that year they beat statistically the best passing team in moeller history (and moeller has QUITE a history) quite handily. there's just no time for the qb to throw because that defense brought relentless pressure on every down
this wasnt the best colerain defense ever...it was the best high school defense ever period

What a good team that was--Colerain. I wonder how Colerain's D would do against a really good throwing team?
