  • good work.Thanks LFJ

  • wow, so beautiful and so brilliant.

    wonderful pictures too.

  • Patsy Cline does a fantastic cover, but is this the song Don Gibson wrote?

  • @WilliamOKJones Don Gibson wrote and recorded it in 1956, Faron Young recorded it in 1960. Patsy Cline recorded it in February of 1963, two months before her untimely death on March 5th. It became a big crossover hit for Patsy, making it to #5 on the Country charts and to #44 on the pop music charts. It has been recorded many times since 1963. Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt.

  • @jkalin196511 Thanks! I love to sing this number that you don't hear sung very often by male vocalists. Also Redneck Woman.

  • Yesterday (09-08-2010) my wife and I saw Jerry Lee perform on TV. At the age of 75; Jerry slurs a little when he talks; but when he plays that piano and sings; MAN OH MAN; he's still got it!! THANKS for Post.

  • @YoungAtHeart1941 Who cares how old you were when you saw Jerry Lee Lewis perform. He still does good stuff.

  • @onebaud :First thing you need to do is learn to Read English. I stated Jerry Lee was 75 (not me) and Jerry Lee still has it. I paid Jerry Lee a compliment.

  • If only the dude hadn't married his 13 year-old cousin. He could have taken the crown for from Elvis while he was serving in Germany. History may have been very different. Jerry Lee Lewis will always be at the top of the Country/Rock food chain. It's so nice to hear a man sing this particular song.

  • Thank you so much for this JERRYLEERULES - you are the greatest for keeping the killers music alive!!! Is it possible to get the photos you have on this with Mr. Jerry and Ms. Myra emailed to me? I would like to give them to Phoebe (their daughter). You can contact me at mark77301@yahoo.com.

    Thanks for your consideration! Mark

  • I think Jerry-Lee really excells at country music. He is brilliant at rock-&-roll but country was to me, an unexpected surprise when I heard him perform it. He is simply a truly fantastic singer ... excellent ... :o)

  • Jeah, great bluesy feeling and great picture, jerry lee with gene vincent. Two of my great heroes.

  • What can you say about Jerry Lee - he'd make the devil cry. It's good to hear that Gene Vincent is also a hero of yours. He's one of mine too! I just wish he'd receive more recognition for his outstanding contribution to rock'n'roll.

  • @halothewynd1 Love your line "What can you say about Jerry Lee-he'd make the devil cry" wish I'd have said it.

  • i remember hearing this in 1969 during the fall of that year in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Great tune.

  • another great song by the killer showing is great talent has a singer and the best piono player ever

  • Jerry Lee tosses off vocals and breaks that drive me nuts. 1:23 - 2:04 is perfect piano playing.
