living in America, we are more censored when it comes to sex & not being fair like a while back I was watching something on tv - something I've seen before & there was a scene where a guy&girl was going at it & then there was a gay couple & something was off- I realized then that they had cut out a scene of them sharing a simple kiss & then a missing scene of them holding hands..I was like: it's ok to see a practically fornicating straight couple but not a gay hand-holding, let alone gay kiss?

I have also realised that the Official UK and US versions of the trailor have completely edited out all of the gay kissing and/or sex scenes from the trailer, but have kept in the short clip of him having sex with his wife. I hate this. I think if more people saw it it would be more accepted as "norm". When I first watched Queer as Folk US, one of my favourite shows, the gay sex shocked me because I had never seen it on film before (even though I'm bi!). But now, I don't even bat an eyelid.
