The MAGTF demonstration is always a crowd-pleaser.

I believe in 2008, I had front row seats in one of the booths and got to meet with the Thunderbird pilots before their demonstration.

Oh god they were annoying! Somehow no matter where you go when they see a camera they want to get on "TV". There were like 10-20 of them from some school and there was no chaperone in the bleachers... wtf

Probably demonstrating a short-field landing.

Actually that Hornet had an emergency that required the need of the cable. I wasn't informed of the problem but presume it was landing gear related because I heard the word "pins" mentioned over the scanner.
