You know, I wasn't even aware that this song was originally performed by Neil Sedaka, until I read it on Wikipedia. After hearing the original for the first time, I have to say I prefer the Captain & Tenille's version. I guess it's because I'm more used to hearing C&T's version. Nothing against the original, though. It's nice too.

I absolutely love this version, it's so jazzy and of course the Captain and Tenille version has a similar arrangement. I love the Captain and Tenille version too. The fact is I love this song, it's my favourite of all time.

The remake, is not a patch on this original, the tempo is far superior and it still sounds graet after all these years.

This is one of those rare instances where the remake(C&T) is much better than the original. This isn't bad, ceretainly better than Nickelback's awful vesrsion.
