@UrwaldOktober I just wanted to add this also. There have always been sceptics and "haters" troughout history, when someone or some minor group comes up with something new. Why are people sceptical towards new things? Because they dont know about any other system than the current one. They are "afraid" to go towards something new, because they dont know what awaits them. They follow the exact same principles of our current society. They start to have roles, you know the boss and the workers and this and that. The roles are helpful for our society to work, BUT if you take your social role as your identity, like many people are doing, then you start to separate youself from other people and the world.

Why are people sceptical towards new things? Because they dont know about any other system than the current one. They are "afraid" to go towards something new, because they dont know what awaits them. They follow the exact same principles of our current society. They start to have roles, you know the boss and the workers and this and that. The roles are helpful for our society to work, BUT if you take your social role as your identity, like many people are doing, then you start to separate youself from other people and the world.

To sum all this up, the change has to first happen inside the people, and this has been happening for many years and has become stronger in the last years because of the internet and a more "global" world. I don't recall them every announcing their official reunion as a group to get back in the studio and record a new album. I only recall them doing a reunion tour for their fans only. Serj said they don't have any sort of finalized plan in terms of getting back together. This is only temporary until given official confirmation by the band members themselves, not by some outer source, that they well officially be reuniting and in the process of making a new album.
