I was baptized when I was s38, and 21carebearforever I have to tell you, my sins were great...and awful...I KNEW God would forgive me, but "what would all those people in church think?" Here's the thing...all those people are just as broken as you are. when you truly and completely give yourself to Jesus in baptism, your concern about "what will they think" disappears. the grace of God washes that away and makes it clear...we are all sinners. don't give up...keep praying...you'll hear Him.
I`m going through so much lonliness and discouragement right now. At my church, I was talking to my friend and I asked him what it was like to get baptized because I have a desire to. The only problem is..... "I`m afraid of what people will think." I mean, I`ve tried crying out to Jesus, but it seems like he can`t hear me! I am only 13 and I have such a burning desire for God. I`m filled with the HolySpirit, but it dose`nt seem to do me much good.

@6628800 I was in a severe car accident two years ago. T-boned by an 18 wheeler semi truck. I was dead for 4 minutes, with absolutely no pulse or active body responses. Ever since then, I look at the religion thing completely different. I used to go to church every weekend and attend every religious holiday/celebration. I never saw a white light, a sign of after life, it was nothing. When I came out of the state and was brought back, I couldn't believe nothing happened. Sorry

AAAAHHHHH!!! I love this song! I went to church camp with my friend a nd God... Well, I can`t explain what he did to me! I just remember crying my face off!!! MAN! God is soooooooo good! I could`nt believe what he did to me! It was so weird! For the first time i went to the altar at church camp and... I started to tremble and my lips began to stammer. JESUS died for us all the least we can do is believe. Im only 12 but my mom is a right at home in care person and she had this patient and she is 99 years old and going to be passing soon, my mom tryed to talk to her about god but she said ive live my liven all without him and im very sad for her life Every moring and night i pray that god will take her anyway she wants to leave but i dont want her to go without gods love in here heart.

My daughter Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia Presbyterian Hosp Bx NY. Both her lungs were destroyed her lungs couldn't stop bleeding.Dr said that not even a lung transplant would save her.I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed God in the supernatural power you gave Moses I ask u to close my daughter's lungs like u did to the red sea.. Drs call it miraculous.I say b/c I dared to believe I received.Drs said that this story should be told.

Hey Mario! Praise be to God. Please consider reading The Invisable War" by Chip Ingram. Very enlightening book, which may help you to understand who the enemy is and how to deal with it. When your eyes and heart have been open the the truth and you "really" see (i.e. saved), you become an enemy of them who would see us removed from God...forever. Fortuntely with God standing with us in our hearts and minds, we can not be moved. Yet when we turn our attention from God...backslide,
we become weak and become easy pray for the enemy. Salvation from Christ, (which I have experienced) does not change us 100% over night. It takes time to change, yet that change can only happen with you finding stength in Him to do so. You are, I am, everyone is, powerless to defeat the enemy without the strength of our Lord. Anything that we covet which brings us pain, sorrow, and death are tools of the enemy to destroy you, your family, your town, your life....
so, eventhough you fall, lift your hands to Him to help you stand and He will. God knows we will fail/fall on the path to find Him. He knows everything, but you must admit/comfess and simply just say...(Lord I have messed up) and if you truely are sorry and wish to be forgiven and repent, you not only will be forgiven, but God will make you stronger so that you can stand against that which made you fail/fall. @titmousetalks there are a few things that prevent us from hearing gods words. one is pride the other is embarrassment, I know I was like that just clear your mind and pray, Pray with your heart and soul and dont listen to your mind because it will tell you things you want to hear not what is truly being said. Like I said I was like that was always wondering why god never answered my prayers until I was shown how the physical body plays tricks on you.
I have had a lot of trails and tribulations in my life, from my daughter getting ran over by a truck through all the prayers she survived, during this time we lost our house and then I lost my father to a heart attack, but I never once questioned god why all of this was happening to me. I kept my faith strong and gave my life to the lord again and this song says it all! Thank lord Jesus!

What you have to understand is that the people who know what this song was originally meant to be about appreciate it. If it was played on a pop radio station people will inevitably look into the group and find out the original purpose and THEN they will see the true meaning behind the song. When I went looking for the Truth I hated Christians and would have given anything for it not to be true but God took me from a homeless heroin addict/crackhead to owning my own home and biz and making 6 figures. Im only 12 but my mom is a right at home in care person and she had this patient and she is 99 years old and going to be passing soon, my mom tryed to talk to her about god but she said ive live my liven all without him and im very sad for her life Every moring and night i pray that god will take her anyway she wants to leave but i dont want her to go without gods love in here heart.

My daughter Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia Presbyterian Hosp Bx NY. Both her lungs were destroyed her lungs couldn't stop bleeding.Dr said that not even a lung transplant would save her.I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed God in the supernatural power you gave Moses I ask u to close my daughter's lungs like u did to the red sea.. Drs call it miraculous.I say b/c I dared to believe I received.Drs said that this story should be told.

He knows everything, but you must admit/comfess and simply just say...(Lord I have messed up) and if you truely are sorry and wish to be forgiven and repent, you not only will be forgiven, but God will make you stronger so that you can stand against that which made you fail/fall. I have had a lot of trails and tribulations in my life, from my daughter getting ran over by a truck through all the prayers she survived, during this time we lost our house and then I lost my father to a heart attack, but I never once questioned god why all of this was happening to me. What you have to understand is that the people who know what this song was originally meant to be about appreciate it. If it was played on a pop radio station people will inevitably look into the group and find out the original purpose and THEN they will see the true meaning behind the song. For instance a man at my church with four children lost his job, and is having trouble finding one. They love Jesus but are having a rough time. Just remember that Jesus is with you in good times and bad times. His love is with those who trust in Him. Find a bible believing Christ honoring church, and get involved. You will need those people.

I have been there. When I went looking for the Truth I hated Christians and would have given anything for it not to be true but God took me from a homeless heroin addict/crackhead to owning my own home and biz and making 6 figures. God is good and He IS the God of the impossible. EVERY single thing you do in this life matters and has an effect. What you watch, listen to, focus on, etc will determine the direction of your life as will those you chill with. God Bless
