@justincredible9446 its considered standing because you aren't getting the same power you get when running....it's a whole lot different. The step barely does a thing, it's really just a mental thing.

ugh i hate the gymnast comments i've seen more amazing tumbling passes at cheerleading competitions than the olympics. Wheres any gender gymnast olympian doing a standing double at a comp. That is most deffinatly standing. It's stepping before, but she returns to the standing position before she actually goes, there is like a millisecond pause, where in running there is none, I'd also like to add that this was the prettiest standing double in the whole entire universe, and two-step double full doesn't even sound right, I'm a cheerleader, :)

@BoomDynamite3000 i went to a competition this weekend and saw a 14 year old coaching a team, saying your a coach doesnt say much...sorry. Maybe saying an uneducated coach w/ out much experience in this field would benefit you, that way atleast we could explain how this is a standing double, and how she is the 1ST GIRL TO DO IT. Until then, keep on coaching ;)

Dude, I'm not trying to correct her jump/saying it isn't incredibly amazingly done, I'm correcting the NAME for it. So why do I have to 'do it my self to prove my point'? I only need to say one thing to prove that what I'm saying is correct - she's stepping, as you say yourself, and when you stand, you don't step - hence the "stand" - therefore this isn't standing double, but backstepping double.

Maybe I'm not into cheering and gymnastics like you're doing it, I'm a tumbler/trampolinist, a "jump gymnast" as it's called in my language, and we name the things we do after what we actually do, not what we don't do. Correct title would be: "Standing double... with steps -,-".

Then when i run down to the trampoline, doing trif or something, then can i call it "standing tripple front!!!!" - just because, as you say, i havent done any other trick just before? I must laugh.

@mikanden123 well I'm glad you like to make up your own language because I've never heard of it. Anyway. In front tumbling bursting into a full on sprint before you do a trick is not the same as taking a small pre-step into a trick. Now, if she took like 4 1/2 steps back into it that is a completely different story. If you can take 1 step into a trip front, then by all means ill call that standing all day long. Until then that is still running, and this still counts as STANDING
