im going to be taking my written test in around 10 days (whenever my dad gets back from work), so i was wondering if anyone has any other tips to pass it no problem. im going to be reading the driver handbook everyday for the next 7-10 days.

@jinchurikione before test: take random quizzes online(of course pertaining to the laws of the state ur in) and study the handbook, of course. remember that it isnt just a "common sense" test, it is an actual test. and during test: take your time!! i got -8, and i took 16 minutes to complete it. so TAKE YOUR TIME!!! besides that, good luck

Hi! I'm from Virginia USA and I'm 18 yrs. old and 3 Months. I just got my Learner's Permit and I do have some experience already. The local DMV said that I should have at least 9 months or turn 19 yrs. old before I can take the road test and acquire my Driver's License. @Kamikazee011 If you take a Drivers Ed course, the time you have to wait to get your next level of license gets reduced. For example, Usually you have to wait a year from your permit, if you take Drivers Course it gets reduced to 8 months.

The process is 1 Year Long, and You have a Pre-License for 2 Years. Then you go to Driver License

in philippines theres no need a knowledge test or some other test... you just need 2 basic steps to pass it:

1. mouth - just talk and the instructor will give you instant score..

2. money - obcouse you need to give money in order to give you a score. LOL!

Hey guys...Well first of all i would like to say I just passed today! It really isn't that bad and all that really scared me was my nerves. Everyone will tell you not to be nervous, but it is inevitable that you will be. A tip i have is to practice, practice, practice, the 2 or 3 days before the test doing your 3 point turns and parallel parking. And just realize you can really do it and that it isn't as bad as you are imagining. Good Luck Guys!

AFTER completing and passing the written test, you receive a permit... now for people under 18, they have to hold on to their permit for a few months before getting a license, but if you are 18 or over, then you can take the driving test after receiving your permit without waiting those extra months.

I honestly think the licence revoked cause of bad grades is crap not because mine is revoked. I really enjoyed driving but now i wont be able to drive for another 6-10 months because of this and this is a long time to wait. But im not that smart i try my best in school and high school is hard. remember people if you dont drive comerce in america you dont need a licence

I got my license too! it's been a fast Unsuccessful/Successful Summer! I got a pre-approved loan for $3,000 so I can get my car today. A Taurus, Cavalier, and other cars with power windows and with Cd players! YAY! The drivers test is easy if any of guys are nervous don't be!

@dopem..im no expert just a mechanic and the rear window defroster does not run through the AC Unit, Think of it as an eletrical grid that runs left to right that sends an eletrical current through the window enough to heat it up, but it will still be cold to the touch but hot enough to melt ice build up, its also easy to test with a VOM, just set the VOM to resistence and then put the negitive to ground usally the body works then with the positive put it to the strip, you should get a reading!

@newdriverspermit I got my Florida driver handbook back in 2008 then I took the alcohol and drug exam and I passed the exam then the other exam I had to take was the learners exam and I failed that exam like 2 times then I quit cause the learners exam cost alot of money I had not tried again since 2008 and now present day I give the exam a final shot and when I signed in online again in 2010 to take the test the computer told me to go to the DMV Office for further testing I hate test!!!!
