With the way I grip the Xbox 360 controller, I wear through thumbsticks like crazy. After a year, the left thumbstick is totally ruined. I've gone through like five or six controllers since the 360 came out. I may have to pick up a pair of these to increase thumbstick longevity. As long as they are lightweight and don't interfere with the travel of the stick, they should be perfect.

Yes these do fit the PS2 controller, but the original rubber coating of the thumbstick has to be there for them to fit correctly.

If the rubber is broken to the extent that it is moving as you say, then I would suggest removing the rubber completely. Our PS3 Caps4stix are designed to fit over the existing rubber so they would be no good, but our Wii Nunchuk Caps4stix do fit the PS3 controllers where the rubber has been completely removed :)

I received mine today and they work really well on shooting games, for example have you ever tried to aim to the right or left only for your thumb to slip right off or loosen so you don't have full control? Then these are definately for you hold your thumbs or fingers right in place.
