I don't know if you've caught this but have you noticed that in Strasburg Railroad's history all the engines except for one have had no trailing truck. #31 is an 0-6-0, #1223 is a 4-4-0, #89 is a 2-6-0, #475 is a 4-8-0 and #90 is a 2-10-0. Only #7002 (8063) had a trailing truck as she is a 4-4-2.
I realize it has ten drivers, but is this isn't one of those so-called Russian decapods that were supposed to be delivered to Soviet Russia in the mid 1900s?
These bells seriously need to be replaced. It may be a sin, but as it was said during the European enlightenment period, there's no escape from modernity.
Hay Im Aussie, Your rail road crossings are identical to ours. even down to the bell sound I once lived near a crossing and for a while didnt like the noise but after a while it was great
Don't know about you, but when I'm at Strasburg I like to hear the sounds of a living, breathing steam locomotive hard at work, not some annoying crossing bell ringing constantly until it gives me a headache.

@kjrehberg Nope. It is a regular decapod. A russian decapod has operated in the 1980's but it hasn't returned to service since.

Mostly nice, except for the bells quitting as the gates lower. That sucks, and it shouldn't happen.
