I was looking at banana hobby helicopters and I ended up with two which I couldn't decide over. shark 450 vs 2 carbon edition or the rogue 500. Please tell me which one you think I should buy

Are you blades changing angles or is the swashplate being manipulated to get it to go up and down so fast?

They sell alternatives to the align and other big names, inherent with clones or cheaper companies, the heli will not be as good as an align. There is a market for the cheaper heli as a lot of people I know just want something that flies right out of the box and I recommend stuff like this as its cheaper start up cost to see if they even like it or can do it. If you want a quality 3D proved stable flyer, then get an align, just be ready to pay 2 to 3x more than banana hobby

@TheBeatSmith I fly alot of helis... Align, eflight, and many more. Yes these helis r tested by banana hobby and cleared but not in deep test. They fly good for a few flights and then start basically falling apart. They r cheaply made. when parts break they are pretty cheap to replace but when they break often it adds up. Another thing i hate about banana hobby is there customer service sucks. it you do get in touch with they dont help. seriously go with the eflight blade 450

Ive bout quite a few helis from banana hobby and i been disappointed with all except 1 which is the blitzrcworks Atom 250 love it. I just wish there other helis where of that quality. I stopped buying there products a couple of years ago and banana hobby has come out with new helis... they might of changed and gotten better but i dont kno. you might want to find people who have flown there newer 1s and ask them. every1 has there opinions but i will never buy from them again.

Bananhobby picked up my Rogue helicopter by ups last week and still nothing. I have called them so many times and no word yet on whats going on with the heli. COME ON! this is such a bad experience with them so far.

I ordered the rogue 500 "RTF" on 08/08/2011 with 2 day mail. I got the Heli a few days later and so excited! Opened it up, beautifrl helicopter! Very very disappointed that the transmitter antenna was broken was broken from packaging. I talked to their tech support and said has long as the gray wire is not broken it should be okay to glue it together.

Wow I paid over 500.00 dollars with additional stuff and he said just glue it! I was happy with the BONUS flight simulator until i installed it and it didnt work properly with the transmitter. Called the tech agian and he couldnt help me to get it to work properly

. It seem s that all the controllers were backwards but he still couldnt help me. He told me that my transmitter was high tech and the flight simulator was a little out dated-great! I took the heli to the park, followed all the preflight steps. "RTF" - I DONT THINK THIS ONE WAS PROGRAMED! Very disappointed again, at this point i was still ok with it and called tech support. I end up talking to at least 5 to 6 different tech before one of the tech name George was able to help me a little.

He was able to help me set the control going forward, backward, left, right, roll, but heli still wont throttle up and pick up. He's tried everything over the phone and finally said let me check on the pick up request. Dont get me wrong alot of the tech were helpfull but alot of them did not know how to help me.

oh I forgot to mention that before this all started, they are suppose to send me a form to pick up the helicopter so we figured we can figure out the issue before UPS pick up. They told me it takes 24 hours for approval to send me an email for pick up. Its been 2 days and no email or approval yet. I called today 2 times and they said they try to let me know asap! WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

To me I always regard no matter electric/nitro, rtf/pnp... along with a (good) simulator is indispensable prior to utimate flight being sucessful Simulators reduce real crashing possiblities substantially cuz these 'simulate' real environment and models pretty much If we'd play all models in these well and this'd mean 50% real flights success'd reached at least So simulators=good assistants ar really worth for us to invest in!

Heli's should never be rtf....your gonna crash, and have to rebuild it. Might as well buy a kit. Why even try to compete with the rtf market....e-flight makes junk, but they have the whole rtf market already. Just buy a trex kits and build...flyes 100000x better then these plastic toys

i can almost guarantee that this thing didnt fly for as long as the video depicts. prob 5 mins at best. this is what i dont like about electric r/c over nitro. yes i know nitro is messt and complex but at least i get more than 5 mins of runtime and dont have to wait an age for recharging. with nitro u just refuel and u r away. also i am seeing in many bananahobby vids ppl mentioning how terrible the service is and after sales support is nil. this has turned me away from purchasing here.

Very cool flying, but is this a 500 class helicopter? It's 600mm in length right? That's shorter than a 450 class. Blades are longer than a 450 class, but it's no where near 850mm in total length or is it?
