  • My speaker or woofer has come loose and hanging inside the "mesh" speaker cover. Can I pry the mesh off the door panel to access the speakers without removing the whole door panel? Thanks!!

  • @Pachyderm12 You would need to take the door panel off so that you can screw it back into the door.

  • how you remove the back speaker panel in the trunk on a 2001 chevy tahoe ls

  • @Cousinorange Currently we do not have a repair video that shows this procedure. It may be held in with a couple of screws and/or push pins to hold it in place. Hope this helps.

  • How do you replace the bulb on the door panel light? I own a '99 silverado and the bulb is burned out. Thanks

  • @MrTerry2nd If there isn't a screw on the front of the lens that holds it into place, you would need to remove the door panel as shown in the video. Then you should be able to access it from the back of the door panel.

  • Great Video, I had to replace the speaker in my 2000 Sierra. Easiest Iever took a door panel off.

  • Thanks for the Video. Just a word of caution. I broke off a plastic part in trying to use these instructons on a 2003 Yukon. While the panel looks identical to the one here, the power window swith asssembly is attached at the front end from underneath (pointy end) with a small screw that is accessed from below but only after the door panel is pulled away from the door. If you try to pry it out as shown, it'll snap!

  • @sdrew2 Your right I just snaped the front screw tab , also the second screw holding the door in is located behind the door lock assembley, great vid though...!!

  • should be the same on my 06 sierra crew cab right? Good video. I'm always afraid of tugging on things I think will snap off... but are screwed on by some hidden screw!

  • this was very helpful thanks

  • hey i have a question im swaping the doors from a 2000 tahoe to a 1992 silverado how can i wire the doors to roll the windows up and down????

  • Thanks for that... but what do you do when the window broke and someone raised it too high and now the glass clamps and cables are loose?

  • is the procedure the same for chevy tahoe 2000...i need to replaced my power window motor? thanks

  • @ediboyzee Yes it should be the same on your vehicle.

  • @1aauto Thank you

  • Thanks for the help

  • Will this video show me how to drop everything i take off?

  • @smallblock283 LOL tough critic. It will definitely show you that there is potential to drop stuff. Make sure you keep track of it all for reassembly.

  • Is the operation the same for the rear passenger doors?

  • @warreng30 Very similar yes

  • Great video! ... Do I need to pull the door panel to replace the door speakers?

  • @deadly107 Yes

  • would this work for a 99 suburban?

  • @usctrojansdoug No, that is the older body style, we do have a video for that.

  • Removed my door panel to replace a broken door handle on a 99 Tahoe with 155,000 miles. I ordered the replacement from 1AAuto. Shipped promptly and fairly priced. I didn't have to disconnect the electrical connections for the windows, lock and power seats. Just the speaker wire. I let the door panel hang on the electrical. It was easy to work around the door panel to replace the door handle. I used a panel tool but still broke one clip but I'm not very experienced. Thanks for your help 1AAuto!

  • If you follow the directions, process is excactly as described. It really is that easy!!

  • I HAVE A QUESTION IS THIS WOULD HELP ME FOR A GMC YUKON XL 2002???

  • @CLUBDUBCITY Yes, same procedure

  • WARNING IF your truck has the window switches that you pull up on (2003 later) to put the windows up then you remove the door panel and then unplug the switches from behind. The switch panel does not pop off like this video.
