  • Lol wth, fail on the "Chaos;Head" spelling D;

  • 最初で泣いた。

  • psp、xbox無いからPC版買いたいが結構高いし、ニトロさんPC版廉価版も出して下さい。

  • これ面白かった

    この場面にくるの苦労したよ

  • Cahos head, lol.

  • What's with the eyes?

  • @edwardnr17

It's part of the artist's style. If you look up 'Huke', he's the illustrator for the visual novel and among other things as well such as Black Rock Shooter and etc.

  • それにしてもこのPV、ネタバレであるw

  • おぉぉぉぉい!ネタバレ過ぎるだろうが!

  • Why cant the game be animated instead of these dull still pictures

  • @Feijoada1 it will receive an anime adaption, but don't underestimate visual novels. Still pictures or not, it's still the only way to dive into the story's universe and experience it in every single detail. Anime isn't capable of such, as it usually focuses on little immediate scenes and throws alot of detail into transitions. Same was with Chaos;Head anime, Fate/Stay Night anime, or frankly any other VN anime adaption.

  • @utsukushiiOto That makes no sense I never said replace this with Anime. I don't care about it having an Anime side project. I'm talking about the GAME with actual animation not still pictures. There's games that have done ADV games like that and they are cool and not boring looking and squandering the power of the PS3 and the sheer amount of space on the BLU-RAY

  • @Feijoada1 if still pictures in a =Visual Novel= bore you, then you're completely missing the concept behind the genre. Who cares about animation, when the main focus is the story? It's pretty much same as blaming a good book for its lack of pictures and decorations. Grow up

  • @utsukushiiOto fuck you dont tell me to grow up this is a game not a book so theres no comarison. A game is about gameplay and immersion and if theyre not going to balance the both of them and just show you still pictures might as well be a pop up book. And game genres have evolved so by not pushing the envelope in creativity is just developers being lazy and stagnant and going the cheap route because it is cost effective and the safe' route to take.

  • @Feijoada1 haha ye keep telling that to yourself. A game majorly involves gameplay. Visual Novels barely have any. You might consider yourself lucky if you'd get to pick between several dialogue options every once in a while. A visual novel is an interactive book, enhanced with visuals, voices, music and sound effects to impose a greater impression of the story and its characters. If you fail to comprehend common sense, it puzzles me how you even ended up watching this vid.

  • @utsukushiiOto ugh because I wanted to see advances in the genre since its on PS3 and PS3 rarely has any ADV games. Heavy Rain being an exception. And a good one at that. Developers are just lazy and they know they are cheap to make thats why the majority of them are on XBox 360 because its easier to port the PC games to that console despite 360 having a less popular following in Japan.

  • @Feijoada1 Steins;Gate originally came out in 2009 on the Xbox360 and only a year later got ported to the PC. "Majority" you say? Barely any visual novels are for consoles. PC was the only platform until just recently. Their only excuse to make a console release prior to the PC release would be protecting their product from fan-translations and pirated redistribution (only for a year's time it seems).

  • @utsukushiiOto You do know there are VN companies now working in tangent with fan translators so both parties can be financially rewarded instead of pirated

  • @Feijoada1 As long as they stick with what they did up until now, everyone's gonna be happy. The recent burst of enthusiasm from Square Enix and Capcom to make games more west-appreciated led to nothing but world-wide rage. Instead of replacing stylish anime characters with ugly-ass american ones to fit the mentality of western gamers, they should've continued meeting the expectations of their existing fanbase and evolved from there.

  • @utsukushiiOto They have and sales have shown people are tired of them.

Keiji Inafune of Capcom even admitting that Japan is making "crappy games" by his view at the TGS and that we are playing "catch up"

  • @Feijoada1 As for Visual Novels and piracy, a paradox comes in play, whereas it was proven many times that financially driven projects (anime subs, scanlations, vn translations) come out inferior to their unofficial counterparts in terms of quality and fanbase appreciation. So, -yay for piracy and freelanced enthusiasts!-

Anyway, companies such as Nitro+ and TypeMoon should target PC/Mac as their primary development platforms. Console nerds have nothing to offer but complaints and trolling.

  • @utsukushiiOto That's why they work together. To prevent that. Certain translators are now not even just translating the finished product but now are hired to help translate from the beginning of the inception of said game.

  • @Feijoada1 Personally though I see no point for VNs to get console releases. It's just a pointless waste of the time and money. They're tackling the wrong audience as well as destroying their existing fanbase.

  • @utsukushiiOto Well you might be right on that considering SCEA doesn't consider these games anyway and typical narrow minded Microsoft FPS fan probably detesting these as well so no way these will ever be released outside Japan and with the Japanese gaming industry in trouble and the ongoing need for globalization to 'catch up' to the other gaming companies in the West & Nintendo, they need to start rethinking their ways or go bust.

  • Why can't they just publish this in europe :(

  • 0:20 - "CAHOS;HEAD"

  • 泣いた・・・

    ありがとう・・・

  • 絶対買います!!

  • the most elaborate time-travel fiction ever.

    no exaggeration. seriously.

  • @Subhumanism i love steins gate but come on. no way lol.

  • 買ったよ(^-^)/

    面白いです~!

  • What is the story? I coudln't understand the story by pictures.

  • by chance main characters made the time machine,

but it change the future ,and they encounters the accident.

and the hero rintaro do time leap to save friends and the lover again and again,

  • Thanks for the info.

  • Many players say the premise is similar to The Butterfly Effect (movie). Protagonist makes a sort of time-machine by accident, and changing the past causes numerous unintended repercussions. Honestly, the material covered isn't anything special, but the execution was fantastic.

  • 4000円以下になると必ず買うぞ。何ヶ月待つのわからない
