  • My teachers allways told me not to dye my point shoues with face products, because they all have some little amount of oil in ther substance... which makes your shoes more slippery in the area you dyed. Though in a hurry once I did dye it a little with a face foundation, I would never encourage others to do that. Use products that are ment for that, otherwise very good instructions, just don't do it with face products. Sorry for my english spelling...not my language :/

  • @alena1410

then don't put any on the sole or the platform, and it shouldnt be a big deal, at least that's what i would imagine.

  • i dont like ur sound sorry but the vid is good :)

  • why in the world would you want them to be your skin tone :? i dont get it. you are going to be using tights anyway and those should be pink, well i suppose that depends on your costume but oh well... its just a stupid idea..

  • What if (like me) You have to get specialised foundation for your face as your much paler than pale foundation and your feet are the same colour as your face if not paler??? xx

  • 'Clean your soul' :D haha

  • ahaha, i see you have 2 label your pointe shoes R and L. me 2! it get's so annoying sometimes, wen u spend ages finding out! ;)

  • I can just imagine someone going to the chemist and testing the different coloured foundations on their feet xD

  • nice hands

  • Do you absolutely have to calamine them before you use the foundation?

  • Whats the blog channel??

  • just curious, do your teachers and directors let you use such beat up shoes? i know that you're calamining them and dying them but the satin is so torn and worn out on the box... it just looks unprofessional. a tip: if you need to break the shoes in a lot for a show but want to keep them clean and looking new, put toe tape all over the tip of the box for rehearsals. it works wonders. but you will want to change the tape every day you wear them or the tape will not come off easily.

  • @ballerinabailey i dance with adrienne and for that piece we were supposed to have dead pointe shoes because the choreographer was really just looking at the pointe shoes as a way to extend the line of your foot

  • didnt you already do that part.... like you first did the dying and then your like okay lets get started .... and then did it again on the same shoe ???????

  • @MsDancingBeauty ive did this to like 3 pairs of my shoes so i might have gotten mixed up

  • @401ballet401 Oh yeah I am on my Third Pair Of pointe shoes right now..... what kind of pointe shoes do you have??
