  • you have the same monitor with me:)

  • what screen?

  • Super FAIL

  • no no no this is sick dude youre the best + can you use the 3D vision kit on a HDfull tv ( i use it a monitor ) or do i need the 3D ready monitor

  • @edineka12 It needs to be a 3D ready monitor. But it should work as long as the screen has 120hz

  • dat monitor not full hd right?

  • yea, my uncle had the 3-d stuff and it looked amazing!

but when we plugged the 3-d stuff with his HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE tv... that was epic XD

  • What is the average fps? I cant see it.

  • @gotenks30253

about 40 to 50 fps i would say

  • What is the average fps? I cant make it out.

  • Pfff ...Ur the biggest idiot on youtube...not the biggest...but ur among the biggest...

  • ive got the same friggin monitor..lmao

  • Lol he is running on 30 fps... You are suposed to need atleast 60...

Cause in 3D, you render a left side frame and then a right side frame, afther another, over and over again, and then you get the right glass to block the left side, and the left glass to block the right side...

That is why it needs double frames. and 120Hz, ofcourse.

  • @MaximumGamingTeam The FPS is irrelevant. It's a refresh rate of 120Hz that's required. Framerate and refresh rate are two entirely different things. For example, movies on bluray are 24FPS, whether you're watching them on a 60Hz, 120Hz, or 240Hz television. The refresh rate is how many times per second the screen displays a new frame. The frame rate of the game being 30 means you get a new frame every 4 screen refreshes, which has no effect on the stereoscopic effect of the glasses.

  • @MaximumGamingTeam ERRRR wrong !!! your completely right.. but what your referring too is the Hz.. frames have nothing to do with 3D at all.. 60Hz for left and 60Hz for right.. but i can see how you got that mixed up = ]

  • suxxx

  • Oh yeah!

    I have 3d compatible nvidia card :3

  • @CycerMan compatible only??? but where's your 3d appliances?

  • @53Afiq

I have 3D glasses, and i can say that games look FUCKING AMAZING when using 3D :)

  • @CycerMan haha, yeah..... way better than playing with conventional monitor...

  • its sterescopic i got 3d descovery 8(

  • والله العظيم انت عبيط

  • much research in ati vs nvidia, no fan but going with gtx 480 3d vision and alienware monitor. i hope i dont regret not getting 5870..

  • what video card u got?

  • haha your graphics cant handle it

  • Also if you want to play 3d on Ati get the IZ3D driver (very cool :D ) works perfect, but keep in mind that it cut your framerate at half, so you must have very powerfull graphic card to work well.

  • @szitmadafaka

isn't there any software or a driver that makes your screen blue-red so u just need some glasses that's all ?

  • @HenkSpankK

Yes the IZ3D driver have 3D-anaglyph function, so you need just blue-red glasses. Also if you dont have those glasses you can sellect the "side-by-side" function and choose "CROSSEYE" technic, but you must research about crosseye viewing. And remember to sellect the full instalation of IZ3D

  • thanks m8

  • No problem :)

  • New nvidia 3d vision drivers does this!

  • yes there is if you have a nvidia graphics card u can turn it on =)

  • i have a geforce 8600M GT, how do i turn it on ?

  • @HenkSpankK its not ganna be good, this technology is very demanding. and your laptop neither have the gpu power nor cpu power. nvidia minimum requirment say atleast a 9800gt. you u use it its ganna work but ur ganna get very very very low fps depending on your game

  • yea i know i have such a bad gpu but it's still very high overclocked i can run gta4 on highest resolution on all high 30 fps =P

so it must be no problem xD

  • Download the drivers and buy red / cycan glasses , it dosent work as good as it does with the Nvidia 3d vision but it works :P , u might get a headeck after a while but yea it works

  • @Skabbraev haha...

  • FAIL!

  • do you get flickering issues?

  • yes

  • can you also watch movies with the 3d vision?

  • @Duskrunner291 i doubt it , it works by putting a filter over the polygons to give them depth

  • @Duskrunner291

from the info i have you cant. the way it works is the computer actually generates 2 images that are pasted together, but in a prerecorded situation rather than generating on the spot prevents the ability to make things such as movies become 3d

  • At the moment no you can't!

  • Comment removed

  • You can use only Nvida graphics cards , that's why it's Nvidia 3d vision. I assume that It's joke :D

  • @krystcompany is that on pc?

  • and i post shit?? what is this a fuckin freak show?? go give fuckin zodiac a blowjob!

  • go lick elephant taint

  • lol really? funny

I know it's made for Nvidia, but I just thought you would get better performance, but yeah it looks like it also looks better with Nvidia.

    and that's why I like Nvidia :-)

  • i only use nvidia because the games look better to me

  • LOL! There is absolutely no point of trying to show video footage of what it looks like in 3D, cause you either get double vision or loose all 3D effects altogether. This is precisely the key to the technology - differente perspective for EACH EYE of the viewer, i.e. for each eye of YOU Youtube user trying to see it on youtube. Do you currently wear 3D glasses? Is Youtube rendering in 3D at 120Hz? NO! Stop being fooled. Buying the tech is the only way to experience it.

  • hehe precision to what I just said - you can actually experience stereoscopic 3D if you are shown the two images side by side and finding the focal point 'behind' the screen. However, not with one camera shooting one TV screen. This is what I meant ;-)

  • lol, I can't believe someone gave you a thumbs down, I gave you a thumbs up tho :-)

People are so stupid, your comment is true, it's what I have been telling people too.

but you deal with a bunch of RETARDS, that say shit such as: "Your a fucking idiot man, games have been in 3D for years, all games are already in 3D, what's the point in getting 3D Vision then?"

They just don't understand. These people are ignorant, and stupid.

  • hahahaha fuck yeh dude, well it's something common these day, "dumb/fucktard ppl" and we have to live and deal with it,...or by ignoring which is a wise way lol

  • yeah, youtube seems to be infested with them, ignorant people. lol

  • @1981z28camaro LOL thanks for your comment. I truly appreciate that there are good, reasonable and informed people such as yourself out there. Sometimes I wonder why I even give a damn to try to educate some people. I find it so sad especially when these people end up creating mis-leading, false chain letters (actually 90 percent of those I receive are bullshit crap that takes 5 seconds to invalidate with my best friend Google ;-) Take care and have a great day!

  • It works on my GTX 295.

  • It work fine on my GTX 260 core 216 SLI. The 3d vision will drop fps, but it still worth.

  • how does it run on deffrent games i have the same set up

  • el weon no muestra na , weon penca

  • Point is a game must have soul, there are plenty old school games i still play todate, and they don't require beefed up machine, Battle field 2142 PC and Super Metriod for the SNES emulator just to name a few.

  • Only for rich Boys

  • and.... stupid =)

  • lol console fanboy

  • Actually i don't own any console and never will, i have a liquid cooled rig Q9650, i don care for consoles at all, but this game was coded shity and deep down you know it.

  • ofc but its still the best graphical game to date

  • But why is graphics so important, don't get me wrong the presentation must be up to standard, but this game is like dating a good look girl with no IQ,

The other day they had a free trial going on for Crysis wars and within a hour i uninstalled it because i thought it was bullshit.

There are many games that brings both gameplay and eye candy to the table without needing to rape your wallet eg. Call of duty 4

  • And that was the third time i gave Crysis wars a try.

  • I think GTA IV is the best graphical game to date, just my opinion :-)

  • I agree =-)

  • about GTA IV? :-)

  • Yes I happen to have it on the pc on a hd3200 it runs GREAT!I am very impressed of the graphics on low settings with no lag!

  • lol, Low settings :-)

  • i don't think so bro. maybe it was moved to it, but it's actually set to med. or high

  • yeah, true.

I also think Crysis looks better on Nvidia cards, I have compared the game on both ATI and Nvidia, and it looks like Richer with Nvidia cards.

  • @1981z28camaro maybe richer, but slower than ati... i think ati should do like that too, 3d. wow

  • @1981z28camaro richer but slower than ati. i think better ati take a new step to provide 3d in their technologies... hehe, maybe can

  • Crysis rapes Gta's graphics..

  • I don't think so, maybe it's just me, but the environment on Crysis is started to look old to me, looks like we could do a lot better now.

  • agreed

  • All reviewers and tech sources i've seen say you need at least 120hz to get the effect. Dont ask me why, they say it has something to do with the rate it can display for both eyes.

  • Its because the screen will flash what your left eye needs to see, then it will flash what your right eye needs to see. The glasses lenses will go black 1 at a time so your right eye doesnt see the left eyes image.

It needs to be 120hz so you effectively get 60hz per eye, otherwise it would look jolty or as if its flashing where as 60hz per eye your eye cant tell

  • the reason it doesnt work is because your monitors refresh rate is too low, you need at least 120hz to play at 60fps, your monitor is incompatible. It would work with an old CRT monitor which have very high refreshrates unlike LCDs which are mostly at 60hz

  • that's true, i worked with stereoscopic glasses for 3d maps or cad. And we used 21'' CRT monitors, and the effect was awsome, but with the common lcds monitors is impossible.

  • Trust me everyone, it does not require twice the power, it requires more, but not twuce!

  • I'll make this simple.

60 hertz > 60 frames per second rendered > 60 frames displayed on-screen per second

That's one frame for every hertz.

120 hertz > 60 frames per second rendered for the left eye > 60 frames per second rendered for the right eye > 120 frames displayed on-screen per second

That's one frame for the left eye every other hertz, and one frame for the right eye every other hertz.

As you can see, one of these scenarios requires the computer to render 120 frames, instead of 60.

  • so this prooves that 3d vision (using nvidia glasses) will NOT work on a regular 60HZ lcd monitor right?, i for once though of looking for a "hack" to make it work, but i guess that if he couldn't do it (i have the same monitor), i wouldn't either....

  • There is no viable option unless you wanted to be running at what looks like 30fps.

  • how do you know how many HZ your monitor is?

  • check your resolution in windows, then advanced configuration, and then check the part that says "monitor" there you should be able to see the monitor model and the refresh rate, then check the option that says "hide refresh modes that are not supported" (or something like that), and try to set the refresh rate higher than the one selected, the usual in LCD monitors is 60HZ (60 hertz, 60 times per second), for this 3d glasses to work, the monitor must support up to 120HZ to work.

  • aww man mines 75 HZ

    i wish i had 120HZ

  • those monitors are far more expensive than the regular :/, let's just stay with our regular flat view of things :P

  • 120hz CRT monitors should theoritically work too, those are much more inexpensive

  • acualy something i tried when you update your vid card drivers I knoticed something new that could enable "3d vision discover" I tried it(with normal 3d red blue glasses) and it acualy works.

  • could you show how it works with that on a video?

  • maybe one day not soon though if you want to know how then you have to have a nvidia (8series+ preferably) get the latest drivers find a pair of 3d glasses, go to startmenue/programs and try to find "enable 3d vision discover"

  • ok i don't have those old glasses, maybe i'll try to make a pair, as for the geforce i have a 9500gt gddr3, if you do post a video about it please let me know

  • While you do need enough power to sustain a decent enough framerate that'll be halfed for each eye, you don't really need twice the GPU power. It's not like it's actually rendering the world any more than it normally would, it's just switching the camera between two relatively offsetted points for each eye. Only one is being rendered at any given time, not both. The process of switching between active cameras shouldn't be too intense.

  • before the 8000 series you do get more slow down... I'm guessing it was the changes to architecture that unbound the vertex operation from a set rate? something like that... even before that you just needed to lower the rez or lower detail a bit.

everybody knows low FPS.. low HZ would look like flickering, like a strobe light.. HZ doesn't drop.. but if you monitor only does 60hz it will not work at all. I can tell you 100hz is bad for 3d... 60hz? nooo way.

    you need a 120hz monitor.

  • Wrong, it is rendereing twice the frame rate, the normal frame rate is 60 frames per second, to show different images on both eyes without flickering it needs to double the framerate.

Do you actually even know how it works?!

  • To be honest, frame rate and refresh rate are different.

Frame rate is variable, and can be hampered by the additional load you mentioned. Refresh rate is constant, and can be changed as hardware settings allow.

  • yeah, but you cap your frame rate out at your Refresh Rate... like you won't get 75 frames per second on a 60 hz monitor :-)

  • I never denied that. Obviously it has to render at a total of 120 fps in order to send 60fps to each eye for smooth gameplay. What I was saying is that the world itself isn't seperately re-rendered through each eye's POV. If it were, you'd need a hellavu PC to render games at 120 fps constant. I'm saying that the render method isn't as linear as some think it may be. There's "shortcuts" if you will. Of course at the end of the day, yes, 120fps has to be rendered.

  • O I defenitely agree, altought it does have to render twice the frames that there are definetely shortcuts (same geometry, textures, lighting just some things are different for each POV) not making the load exactly double altough defenitely making it bigger

  • how is this 3d?????

  • is it will run on 9800gt 1GB ddr3 256-bit or GTX 260 ?

  • well depends on what the other specs of your computer are but jeh i would say the game would run on high or maybey higher.

  • everything abov 8800

  • Comment removed

  • what u think would this run gread on 2 260s???

  • we have the same monitor =D

  • Well right now am getting a laptop, but i definitely getting this with in 2-3 years when i build my next computer setup!

  • lol did it really got frozen on you while turned on the 3d?

  • You know, this would be better if most of the video showed more of the glasses being used in the game and not adjusting the setup or loading the game. It's a waste of time. And yeah, I dun think you'll be successful showing it's in 3D though even with the glasses.

  • why would it be worthless?

the depth can be turned off or on to the command.

you're just being a sour grape lol.

  • wat kind of rig u got?

  • 120Hz

  • I wouldn't fuck with this movie until we actually are inside of virtual reality like a holodeck or something lol.

  • its better to do SLI because it dropps your fps quite a bit

  • This is just a money scam games are alrdy in 3D xD.

  • lmao so are movies.

  • And that work on a XPS M1730, with a graphic card nvidia 9800 gt SLI 1gb DDR3?

  • lol you're jealous.

  • ur dumb

    you need shutter glasses

    (nvidia ones work only)

and a PURE!! I MEAN PURE!!

    120HZ lcd screen

so i recommend you get the full pack on the site.

oh and you need o powerfull GPU

using 3D doubles the needed resources

  • You're right on most parts except for the whole "You need double the GPU resources." Considering the glasses come with a chip that receives the signal from the 120 hz monitor. Resolution is still the same as a regular one :)

  • it's drawing 2 frames for every one in 2d, one for each eye 60fps per eye, 120fps total.

Each eye sees a unique full res frame rendered per eye, in the same time you see 1 normally. The effective resolution when the 2 images are combined in your visual system is double. The extra res enabled by high refesh rate, and why it needs a dual link dvi cable.

So yes, the end result require roughly double the gpu power

  • 60/120 hertz not FPS . they are talking about the monitor refresh rate . although it may not look very good in lower FPS drawing, but it might still be smooth to certain low level.

  • how to know myseft lcd how many HZ?

  • look at the back of the LCD

  • u need nvidia 3d vision, shutterglasses and a 120hz-monitor. And it doesn´t work in a video

Why are somany people so fuckin stupid? Cool VId!

  • The vid isn't cool.

He never showed anything or even fucking turned on the 3d (yeah, on then off without leaving it on)

    1/5, mislabeled vid etc

  • Whats wrong with it?

  • dude u need a 120hrz monitor or it wont work

  • doesnt work; could have noted that in the beginning of the video.
