WTF David Gergen is a proud member of Bohemian Grove but he does run around naked? Search You Tube or Google for "Alex Jones asks David Gergen about Bohemian Grove Rituals"
The group Vietnam Veterans Against McCain attacks Senator John McCain's heroism as a POW in the Vietnam conflict; this is making some waves in the news due to McCain's presidential candidacy.
The documentary "Missing, Presumed Dead the Search for America's POWs" however focuses more on Senator John McCain successfully blocking the release of classified POW/MIA documents.
Here is a DVD extra from that documentary. A DVD of the documentary may be purchased at MissingPresumedDead website
McCain would continue Bush's economic policies that do NOT work. Look at our economy now. Our economy sucks! Every time our economy tanks, a Repubican is President! Herbert Hoover - Great Depression Dwight Eisenhower - 1957 Recession Richard Nixon - 1971 Recession Gerald Ford - stagflation in 1973 Ronald Reagan - "Black Monday," Oct. 19, 1987 George H. W. Bush - 1991 Recession George W. Bush - right now! We deserve a change. Vote Barack Obama.
Let's face it, folks... Both Obama and McCain make mistakes... It's all part of being human... Now, what I would like to see are YouTube videos which compile and count their gaffes (as many as possible)... Eventually, we'll see who's the better candidate...
Absolutely sickening, McCain is the lowest of the low, this man is a real creep. I used to have a favorable opinion of McCain, I didn't like alot of his policies particularly his views on Iraq but I still thought that he was at his heart a good man. But now after watching this man repeatedly lie I've changed my view of this man. McCain has repeatedly demonstrated that he can look into the camera and bold face lie to the American people, who in there right mind can support that?
This man is such a clown "that's just a matter of history" what a joke in any other country in the world he'd be laughed off the political stage "only in america"
What's amazing is the consistency with which McCain makes mistakes, then uses the opportunity to make some kind of attack on Obama's credentials. Amazing. Including the worst of them all - that Obama was willing to lose a war to win an election.
He is supposed to be the expert on war in Iraq and he doesn't know when the Anbar awakenning took place. He tried to lie to the unsuspecting Americans and lets call it what it is that is he tried to sell the lie as he helped sell the war in the first place.I am starting to get disappointed at AC and david gergen, this is not a gaffe this outright lie and they should condemn and don't just give it a pass. The media has an obligation towards the general public to inform.
Joe Klein (or, as he is more commonly known, Joke Line) is such a pathetic faux liberal, as always. This time, he tags the McCain gaffes about Iraq and Afghanistan as inconsequential; then claims (without backing it up) that Obama has made many of the same type of gaffe "on the campaign trail."
What a complete incompetent! He is now embarrassing himself and the GOP daily! And I'm loving it. Let's see if the MSN protects him from this gaffe as well.
Sweetly ironic that the surge is helping to defeat the Bush/McCain vision of victory - occupying Iraq from here to infinity while using it as a launch pad for their next uncounted wars - while the result plays right into Obama's platform. Obama had the courage to speak out against this war from the beginning, when it would have been politically safe to support it, as Hillary Clinton did. Given that this entire war is now known to have been justified with deceptions, who's judgment bears up?
One simple point they left out: John McCain didn't understand what had happened in Iraq. This wasn't a gaff, he just had no clue about a fundamental part of the surge timeline.
How can anyone expect him to win a war he doesn't understand?
I think this is not incompetence or misunderstanding; this was a lie that he believed he could get away with. He very well knows about the conflict in Iraq and has been there only like a dozen times.

Gerald Ford wasn't president until 1974 after Richard Nixon resigned from office. At that time, he was vice president.

Not knowing the border of a country in which we've been fighting this war for years is entirely unacceptable for a presidential candidate.
If it were a "mistake" and McCain wasn't a "dumbass," he should have immediately corrected himself on this important topic.

Exactly. This is NOT a gaffe or a senior moment. This is a clear example of poor understanding of history.
