I just watched this on the Documentary channel. It was such an amazing story. I cried throughout the entire thing. It's beautiful and inspiring, and makes me appreciate life so much more. This film has changed my life.
Just was it at the Honolulu Academic of Arts..A very compelling firm to tell the Tibetan side of the story. Real people, real stories. With a 10-year span of the making of this film, however, I would like to see the producer played up the time span and the change or unchange of Tibetans spirit, determination, or desire.
Tibetans have been repressed by CCP since 1950.Only a small minority of Tibetans harmed Han colonist in Tibet; none have ever condoned, supported, ecouraged, priased, or celebrated the killing of anyone and never have gone to China proper to kill Chinese women, children and civilians. There's documentation of shooting Tibetans who escape, Tibetans living in fear of CCP agents, imprisonment for celebrating HHDL, and reeducation camps. How can anyone with a conscience support this cruelty?
