why can americns say nokia correctly or mobile. its not "noh kia" its "nokia", short o. and mobile is pronounced "moe-bile" as in the bar tender from simpsons and stomach bile. get it right america
@Batamon1997 it was expensive, like all late 80's mobilephones, I had one of those early ones and they cost 20 K $ with car kit etc. And I bought it from Finland where I live. 1989.

@MacrophileWolf Here in the UK we pronounce it knock-ey-a. So the way you pronounce it isn't necessarily wrong, just different. And it gets irritating when you hear something you're used to being pronounced in a certain fairly often, as I'm sure you can imagine.
