He died back in 1993 at the age of 32. He died on the set of the movie "The Crow", which he was recording at that time.

He died because in a scene they were shooting, it was decided that a gun should be used. But the weapons coordinator was sent home early that day... A gun was used anyways with blanks, but a bullet head from an inert round had lodged in the barrel of that gun. The next blank round sent the lodged bullethead off and severed Brandons Spine. He died 5 hours later on a hospital.
