@90102noob I have used the Vendetta 2 in both the Antec 900 and the 902 and the side fan presses against the top fan blades and if you wanna close the side panel it does not close the side panel without bending the top fan blades. I have switched to the Vendetta 1 which is a 92mm cooling fan and that one fits nicely inside the antec 900 and 902 !!! I hope this answers your question !
no i dont think you do, i found on a forum that it doesnt make a temp difference it just holds it in better becuase using the pushpins it could easily fall out
the retention bracket should provide a more evenly spread contact on the cpu because the mobo is not being bent by pushpins. i guess there shouldn't be much temp change. thanks for the info :D
whats the song nice video the vendetta 2 has the lowest temps on all the charts i have eve seen so im waiting for the socket 1366 mount comes out for my i7 please reply nice video!!
This cooler is cool (literally). I have a pentium d 920 2.8ghz which ran at 52-54 degrees celcius at idle and over 65 degrees at load. Installed this (with effort, pushpin mounting makes you wary of breaking something lol) and temps are down to about 40-42 degrees at idle and 55 at most for load.
Im a fan of unpacking nice shiny new pieces of hardware, nothing like fresh stuff! Great cooler and they have the rebate too! :D
I watched you peel that sticker only cause i love this song
