Because the English version obviously doesn't have Japanese on it and also the fact that Final Mix was only released. Well, it's either Final Mix or the first game released in Japanese. It's probably more likely to be FM though. Most people find that game more attractive than the original. :P I ramble.

I got to lvl 100 by beating him over and over, and when i did i used to go beat him just for fun. I wish you could fight him again in kh2 so i could kill him just for fun in that game too

That's Terranort's heartless. You see in Kh BBS Xehanort moved his heart in Terra's body and took over his body. I don't know yet why he did that. Probaply 'cause he wanted a new, younger and more powerful body.
