I bought an old Wultizer organ but it needs some work...Electrical they say.. I can't wait till it's fixed and I can PLAY play play...YOU are fantistic...
Lots of fun for Hammond/synth/impro players and I can imagine myself spending some time on the bench, goofing around watching the skaters move with my tunes. Good fun stuff.
Corey plays at Roller Motion in Macungie on Thursday nights 7:30 to 10 also at Skateaway in Whitehall I believe 2nd Monday night and at Sportsman Hall in Maryland 3rd Sunday of the month.
I used to skate at Hagys on Sunday nights so yes I remember when Green He was ok but I would much rather listen to Marty or Ralph Brown and I will post more vids
If your in Pennsylvania also check out Marty Dumic he plays at Olympic Skating center every Tuesday 7-10 pm he also plays for the eastern regions Dance Skate Competitions
the music is awesome i just wish our local rink around here had someone as great as him to play !!!!!! the sad news tho is our rollerskating rink no longer has a hammond now they play this loud un bearable garb on cds todays kids call music "i call it garbage" but id rather have the awesome sounds like corey can play
Marylands.....unless you want to drive way into Pennsylvainia the skate to this wonderful young mans music, I suggest you go to Sportsmans this Sunday, the 16th. As a skater there, I'm, afraid lack of attendance may kill this great skating sesion.
Outstanding! PLEASE POST MORE! I grew up skating to this kind of music at Sportsmans Hall in Upperco MD. They played mostly Bill Clark tapes and later Marty Dumic when he came on the scene. Sportsmans Hall recently reopened and I'm looking forward to going there and skating to this GREAT organ music again. This is the first time I've seen Corey and it looks like he's going to be one of the greats just like Bill, Ralph, and Marty! Wonderful, just Wonderful!
yes, Markin DC I rememebr the RINX records, wow this is great music. Remember IN A PERSIAN MARKET CONGA on Rinx? And the tune LAZY BONES? GREAT RINX RECORDS
I last skated to one of them probably in 1985, but they are all STILL in my head.... Midnight Cowboy, What's New Pussycat?, Just the Way You Are, My Baby Takes the Morning Train, Blues in B-Flat, Love Me WIth All Your Heart, Don't Sleep in the SUbway, and a LOT more I can't think of.
I may go up and hear this guy play some Sunday night.
Rinx was the best; not to mention the best colored vinyl on the 45s. Persian Market was great! I also liked CONGAROO. My favorites were heard at Beers' Roller Rink, Wysox, PA, and at Troy Skateland, Troy, PA. The Vanzile family operated a fantastic friendly rink, with the best wood floor around. The floor is gone now, replaced with a cheap modern compound. But my memories of the noisy fun, occasional ripped knees in my jeans, and the records will be with me always.
Corey is simply amazing! He is a great organist and loves playing for skaters. Keep up the excellent playing Corey...we will see you at the rink!!! Suggestion for your next video-- Woodchopper,Swingin Safari or maybe Lying Eyes!
It is amazing how hard it is to play organ for roller skating. Not any veriation from the required beats per minute for the roller dance that is being done. Wonderful Job!!

@boriherter I think its a variation of Hey Big Spender by Shirley Bassey, at least he is playing the chorus at 1:14
