@tudorakiris7 I don't know a lot about rates; most of what I know is just what I've been told, so don't take my word to be fool-proof. Setting your updaterate and cmdrate to 101 automatically makes it the maximum the server can handle. As for interp_ratio, I don't know much about it. I just adjusted it based on what some friends told me.

@InfertiIity I used to toggle between 1 and 0. It's down to personal preference. Now, I've gotten used to the timing of the crosshair (like how long it takes for it to become pin-point accurate once you go from running to stopping). After I got a feel for that, the crosshair just became a hassle bouncing all over my screen. I have this in my autoexec:

bind x "incrementvar cl_crosshair_dynamic 0 1 1"

Whenever I hit x, it toggles between 1 and 0.

I don't understand it though because I've only been doing this for the past what 5 days and every time i hit one with the shotgun or sniper rifle i can never 1 hit kill them i have to keep shooting just to kill them. Is there a certain way to do this? and yes i do aim for the head all the time.

@inika1972 with a shotgun, I'd suggest aiming for the chest, tbh. Better chance of a kill. Rifles and the uzi would be better suited for headshots. Also, make sure you're using good rates. The rates posted on my youtube channel are what I've used for over a year and haven't had much trouble unless the server is bad.
