  • Thank you for uploading this!! I searched for "reading rainbow computer" because I was looking for this exact video!

  • Hi all. Glad you like Liminare and tnx for posting it! John and I created it for Expo '86, in Vancouver. I suspect this copy is related to an air-check tape, which would explain the strange number at the beginning. If you'd like to see more abstract video art from this era - as well as a higher quality posting of Luminare, with stereo audio - please visit channel Dean358. I'll be posting a variety of video art there, from the good ol' days of NTSC. Cheers! Dean Winkler

  • The actual Daniel Lentz composition from which this is taken, "Is it Love," runs 9:02. A cut in the music occurs at 4:26. Peace.

  • You're welcome.

  • I remember watching this on reading rainbow!

anyways, it sure is like a weird digital psychedelic dream with floating potatoes, shapes, and dancing people! LOL

  • Anybody know what the SS078 6012 means at the beginning of the clip?

  • could mean the copyright serial number or where and when it was produced, just a guess.

  • the first 2:38 was played on Reading Rainbow, epsiode Abiyoyo.

  • I could never decide if those spinning brown things were potatoes or.....something else, lol.

  • And don't forget that Dean Winkler AND John Sanborn directed this as well. Peace.

  • I just love Daniel Lentz's music. Peace.
