Why think that way? Just sit down patiently and tackle it piece by piece as I did so many years ago! I remember being in the same spot as you. The tab book helps, but remember to practice along with the album to get the feel and tone right.

No tab book I've ever bought came with free backing tracks! Wish they would! I made these myself based on a MIDI arrangement freely available on the internet. I recorded the bass guitar myself; somewhat crappily. The backup guitars are the same tone as my lead guitar so I figured that might've been a dead give-a-way that I recorded them myself. The drums are from EZDrummer.

both solos are cliff's, the one near 2:10 ish and the one at 6:34 and all that noise at the beginning are all cliff's bass. But i love the sound of the guitar- did you use the LD2 setting on the triaxis?

Hahaha yeah it's a very versatile piece of equipment. Lately I've been relying on an external GEQ more vs. the dynamic voice control. I'm hesitant to push the dyn voice up past 4.0 now. I'd still like to try out a Mark IV though.

What GEQ are u using? I have one MXR pedal but I see a lot of guys using rack EQ in the loop.. I guess is better... dont know for sure..

Same NADY GEQ-215 I mentioned in the description. It's a rack mount two-channel 15-band EQ. It's okay, not fantastic. I wish I could have a very transparent stereo rack EQ with ONE set of faders that control both channels. THAT'd be awesome.
