This make me want to cry! I felt his pain when he talked about being so lost and so unhappy in a world where is full of material, money and FAM. The praying part I also have similar experience. He certianly made the right decision by choosing God...Now the tough part about being Christian is to practice your faith everyday! vanness is so right, living according to what society deems as important is just not what "living" is all about. it's about finding that spiritual truth and really reflecting by yourself what is really important in your life.
vanness is very courageous, enough to face life's true meaning and purposes.
i think from this video i learned that rocky paths, no matter how long, will lead to a smoother and more meaningful one.
I didn' t really pay much attention to Vanness until I watched the Autumns Concerto which is a drama series that is currently aired in Taiwan. Then I was fortunate enough to dig out this inspiring interview which led me to know Vanness as a real person, just like the way he wanted.
I am amazed by the fact that he was able to talk freely and openly about how he had struggled to become a recognised and well-respected artist and how he was lost as increasing fortune and fame came into his life.
While he did not say anything concrete, the unspoken words were well-received by the audience. In fact, you dont normally hear an artist who is still active has the guts to even give a hint of this to the general public. We have the privilege to hear this from Vanness and I think it was because he wanted his sharing to be truthful and faithful.

Then he really fall a sleep.the next morning he was very surprised at what happened ,thatz how he started to meet God.

While he did not say anything concrete, the unspoken words were well-received by the audience. In fact, you dont normally hear an artist who is still active has the guts to even give a hint of this to the general public. We have the privilege to hear this from Vanness and I think it was because he wanted his sharing to be truthful and faithful.

Does anybody know what denomination Van Ness belongs to? For example I'm a Seventh Day Adventist. All I've found regarding my question is vague in that he's a Protestant Christian. Please help. Thank you. And may God bless him and convict him to continue searching for God's Truth!

One night he cant sleep,he didnt know why but he pray to God pls help me sleep.
Then he really fall a sleep.the next morning he was very surprised at what happened ,thatz how he started to meet God.
Another night he had a panic attack.he was literally very scared.He just keep repeating "help me Jesus,Help me God"over and over..cuz he didnt know how to pray yet.Then He met Jeason Ma, a pastor who is quite active in helping artist to know Jesus.
