  • Ive been told over and over again about this Lake by my grandfather. He said that this was where we the native Fijians originated from. We call it "Drano Levu mai Taganiika". Along this lake are names of places similar to what we have in Fiji. Thanks for the Video.

  • second largest lake after Baikal in Russia......................avg depth almost 4000 meters

  • Yeah, that's not James Earl Jones. Pretty sure thats the voice of Avery Brooks.

  • sounds like James Earl Jones. I dont think any other voice could have done a better commentary on this amazing lake of Africa. How awesome is that! thanks for posting.

    How about you?

  • @radioajo Cool u have a bigger than aquarium than me. I have a 55 gallon, and a 30 gallon. Both with african cichlids in it. U should post some videos of ur tank. Id like to see it on youtube.

I personally think it out competes "The Blue Planet" TV show. Thank you for posting :)

  • Great Video man!

  • the narrator is Avery Brooks who played Captain Sisko on Star Trek Deep Space 9

  • great

  • anyone know what fish that is on 5:22

  • @inervate Enantiopus melanogenys

  • Sure - these little guys just "evolved" from thin air. But if there is no God, heaven nor hell then just shoot yourself now. I mean - nothing will happen to you right? Evidence for evolution? Well let's see it. Where's the years of evolution of these fish - or is it that someone just finally happened to find them and document them. Funny how that made up bible foretells the future - but not to worry, we luckily have "intellectuals" to straighten our poor souls out...

  • ur argument is very unwise, first you have made a strong beliefe that there is only a two way SALUTION, by saying either evolution or christianty(bible) and your conclusion is that it must be evolution. i feel sad about you. 2 you cant kill urself in any religion, your condemed to hellfire if you do so. i feel that you havent understood the point with our lifes. 3. have you ever EVER again EVER taken your time to read other beliefes who talks about how Creation was created?

  • I saw a synodontis multiplicantus in that cichilds mouth, right?

  • Instead of showing the beautiful species and the history of Tanganiyka the maker of this docoment force everyone to believe the evolution agenda, every 30 sec he must remind us how chance made these magnificiant fishes and it reminds me on how church worked 400 years ago, exacly the same way. to force someone to believe is really bad.

I know the The Uncreated Creator of the Heavens and Earth Created these beautiful chiklids, there no doubt about it. but we are free to believe.

  • Too bad a substantial amount of evidence says that evolution is true, and the creation story is not. Go read a Genetics book and skip Genesis.

  • my dear friend I am a muslim and i do understand that most ateists are former christians and that is because you have been also decieved. We know that Genesis is partly man-made, to prove this we use to say go and read Genesis 19:30 to your children. Now You dont know anything about the Islamic view on how the World and Creations were created by the UNCREATED CREATOR who is all worthy of all worship. He is the Almighty

  • God dosen't exist man. Neither does hell or heaven. Just like the boogeyman, or pocong or toyol. Its just a myth.

  • plz i really hate ignorant people. brainwashed people are really amazing.

would believe that after atomic bomb, on that place there will be a NEW Ferrari? with the door open?

no of course not, you would say someone created it. same with your body., its too perfect to be made by a chance, your parents are a myth no offense. But GOD is almighty, this life is made as a test for us, every one of is beeing tested so we may deserv Paradise or the HELLFIRE with little punishment of the grave

  • Thats your belief, and I respect that. But in turn, please respect my belief. No point in trying to get me to see other ways.

  • you can do that, after all you dont have a beliefe, ZERO. i do and i dont respect those who deny the Lord of the Worlds, it would be called hypocrite if i did so.

You see how stupid you are? I didnt tried to my way, infact I DO NOT care what way u go. its your life and your soul u are playing wiht. it was you who wanted to "guide" me out of my religion by claiming a very stupid comment which u can read urself. plz dont respond, ur stupidity just exposing itself.

  • Okay I did not try to "guide" you out of your religion. Thats what coca cola is for. I was just saying my opinion, that from my point of view, god, the Almighty, does not exist

  • ok...

He exists, and I hope you will find Him and not a man or a creation. If He would show Himself for you then what is the point with this life and the word believing?

This life is a test, God is not a male or female, nor anything in this universe nor is He like anything in your mind or fantasy. All His Creation is like a ring thrown into a desert and the desert represent His Throne, now you may understand why we say God is Greatest. Ok take care and peace be with you

  • Pesce out. Well, we'll know who's right when we die right? Betcha 5 bucks I'm right.

  • I won't argue beliefs, but the reason they keep mentioning evolution in association with the Rift Lakes is because they are one of the most fascinating examples of a single species diversifying into hundreds in order to most efficiently utilize specific niches and food resources. If you believe in evolution, you believe this was an outcome of natural selection, and if you believe in a supreme being, you believe it is an example of the glory of creation. Either way, it is an amazing.

  • Well said. There is nothing on what you say that i disagree, and that is from our Book, Quran sura 21:30

Even the Big Bang is mention in the same verse. We do believe in evolution BUT NOT as evolutionist claims. that it came with chance. We believe that everything that happens have a reason and the Creator do not make anything by accident or unreason. Either way, it is still indeed amazing to watch all the creature in our world. Thanks

  • WEll, it was by chance that they evolved so rapidly from streams and river systems, into the Great Lakes. Nobody meant for them to do that, nor was it because of fate that it happened. Twas an accident, though one of the better ones. No offence, but nothing created these cichilds except for the neccecity to adapt to the high pH lavel of tanganyika, and the already existing species like the synodontis. You also misspelled cichild.

  • Brichardi's should only be held in aquaria where they are alone. Put in any other fish, and they will be killed.

  • Ummm... it looks like a gold comp. to me.
