I remember when the jetsons movie came out in 1990, i was so excited to find out that the voice of judy jetson was tiffany! i used to rewind the scene in the movie when she's singing this part in the mall lol. I like to equate it to me being at a gambling table, and when I meet someone I really like, I throw all my assets on the table and say here is what I have to offer. Then the cards are delt, I loose and they walk away laugh at me, knowing what I would've done for them. I finally gave up 5 years ago and said to hell with it, and I'm much happier, and haven't looked back since.

Ah, Tiffany. You could dub her the MIley Cyrus of the 80s. Every kid at that time was crazy about her. But kids today...you ask them who Tiffany is, they won't know jack sh*t of who you're talking about. And in the 2020s, kids around then won't know jack sh*t of who Miley Cyrus is either. These kid stars just come and go like the wind. Kind of sad really.

@CharlesXavier Except that Miley Cyrus's vocals are auto-tuned, she has an irritating run-of-the-mill voice, songs that lack substance, is a lousy role model and acts more like a stripper on stage than a singer. Tiffany was from the last era in which teen idol singers could actually sing, and at least tried to be good role models. Today, anyone can become a teen idol if they look good enough and have the money machine behind them.

Tiffany is my all time favorite female vocalist. I respect her over her two 80s counterparts Debbie Gibson, and Madonna. She had a sweetness the other two didn't. I can listen to Tiffany all day and not get sick of hearing her voice, where as I can only stand about 25 to 30 minutes of Madonna and Debbie Gibson before I get sick of them. While Madonna and Debbie went bubblegum pop and outragous wardrobes, Tiffany didn't. Tiffany went more the ballad route and dressed more....

If you can't sing when the role calls for singing, then what good are you to the character at that point, you can't have two people play the role one for the singing and one for the voice of the character, in most cases it doesn't work.

@redmr2na Janet Waldo sings just fine. I've heard her do it. She could have pulled this song off, but that's not the point. Tiffany was brought in to add some kind of name to the film. She was only going to do the singing, then SOMEBODY (stories differ depending on the person) decided she should do the voice altogether. THAT was the mistake because Tiffany ewas HORRIBLE in the role!

Tiffany is my all time favorite female vocalist. She was and still is amazing. She was different and refreshing in her prime. While artists like Madonna, Debbie Gibson, and others went for bubblegum pop songs, and rediculous wardrobes, Tiffany went for Ballads, and stayed fairly conservitve. I first heard this song about 3 days ago, and like just about every Tiffany song, it is golden.

I became VERY fascinated with the fate of this song. It was very fitting for Tiffany's voice and age.

But, call me crazy, I think it could've charted in the early 1990s as a pop country ballad. Like if Leanne Rimes had come on the scene 5 yrs. earlier. Could have also sounded INCREDIBLE with a John Michael Montgomery-type voice. Just lose the synth, add a little more twang, and I think it could have gone that direction very easily. Tiffany's legendary though. :)

It's kinda funny how a song from the Jetsons movie proves to be much more deeper, emotional, and powerful than a song from something like the Hannah Montana movie for example.
