  • WHY would a horse be skinny just cus you ride whit a bit. oooo mmmm gggg I hate this kind off videos.

  • Zitat von dem Herren:

"Any herd or herd-like horse management is interdicted. Besides the rebuilding of the horse's entire musculature, herd living makes a horse very primitive and stupid, and returns the horse to the world of primitive ideas and manners."

  • A simple bit is fine, but those strong ones are so sad! You have to use tiny moves to let your horse do what you want. And treat him, brush him, do everything with him. But when theyre really bad you dont have to accept that, just say: no! Ore something like that. With my horse is that always enough.

  • I'd love to see these guys stop a spooking/bolting horse with those little neck ropes xD

  • Oh yeah, very beautiful, and all the horses of Mister N. are kept in solitude 24/7, without any social contact to other horses... of course it´s much easier to teach a lonely horse this stuff, because everything that takes away the boredom is welcome to such a poor animal...

  • @sorornoctis If this is true of how Mr Nevzorov keeps his horses, I full heartedly agree with you that it would increase the effectiveness of the "training", though I don't recommend this. Horses need eachother....

I have recently been riding all my horses in "neckstraps", going between the occasional french link snaffle, side-pull and rope halter, alternating from roundpen, unfenced arena and pasture... continued.

  • @sorornoctis This Mr Nevzorov definitely has a CONNECTION with the animal, a "feel" and most importantly he thinks, believes, is in the present and thanks the horse for being his friend.

He also understands what I call the Pogo Stick. The line that I draw from the ground straight up through the withers. ...continued

  • @sorornoctis ....The spot that if you were in a Matrix, you would be hovering in perfect balance, ready to go in ANY direction, at any given split second! heehee! And the energy is flowing up between your hands, in front of your face and over your head, down along the horses rump, through his hocks, making a figure 8 and shooting out the horse's poll!! Feel it?!

  • Im really getting annoyed as i click a movie to watch 'Haute ecole' and its this stupid comparassion of Rolkur to Classical. It has become such a cliche on youtube. If you don't support Rolkur stop making movies with photos of it. Its counter productive.

  • i am fed up of these people making their horses sit down like puppies, the horse looks stupid but the owner even more !

  • the bad experiences were from spooks causing bolts to jumping an arena fence. the experiences have put fear in me, but however 99% of the time its our fault. its not the horses who need to understand our connection but us understanding them in their TRUE language.

  • @HorsesForeverable Yes and no.... Once we get them to understand that we understand them and a trust and friendship is built, its only fair that they would soon want to learn some of our language...

I especially like working w/ horses that were previously misunderstood, because the first few moments of this new understanding that I can communicate in their language... continued

  • i ABSOLUTELY love this video. please let's bekind and respect eachothers views and opinions. we can still be friends and respect each other. i dont really care for bits but have had some bad experience with horses. and i truly want that true connection and this video helps me become stronger. thank you and god bless :D

  • Bravo Nevzorov !

  • Sommerlas man, sorry, but i think, that you never worked with horses. Mabye you just see them. Cos if you worked with horses, you wouldnt believe Nevzorov.

  • I think you should disable the comments so you wont hear all this crap ...any way it very nice video and keep it up !!!!

some stupid humans like abusing animal what ever we say it wont change their mind too bad :(

  • @bahaamh Do you even work with horses??

  • Why do you only use pictures where riders misuse the bit? So you're saying that people who ride whit bit are bad riders? If you will say that I don't have a real friendship whit my horse, then you have to buy very soon glasses! If you ride with bit it doesn't mean that you hurt the horse! I'm not against natural horsemanship, but it is ridiculous that you compare it with a bit and say that that is bad! We still don't make natural horsemanship ridiculous? So think about that!

  • those dressage pictures are just snapshots, each horse have moments that they will not do what the rider says. I bet that you also do so

  • I'm with Anita. Get all the facts before you pass judgement or create false propaganda, please.

  • where is this "haute ecole" ???

  • Absolutely bloody amazing video - thank you for posting! Maybe the "rules in upper level dressage" do insist on double bridles etc - but progress is progress - and if we could get a greater level of companionship and friendship with our horses - and only use a piece of string - I mean, just LOOK at the self carriage those horses are showing!!!!! - why would we NOT want to do it? we won't change anything by attacking - but by demonstrating what's possible!!!

  • AGAIN... this is inappropriate ...

you suck... you shouldn't post anymore videos ..

    GET REAL..

  • I ABSOLUTELY agree: there is no bad tack but bad users. I am tired of hearing that a bridle or pelham is to "stop" the horse. A bad hand on a smooth bit can be more painful than a good hand on a pelham!!! These tools are made to refine the work with a horse, not to punish them! As for those who get pride in having a Saint George on a Halter, they should ask themselves what effect a halter on a pair of rains can do on a nose as opposed to a bit !! your comments give perspective. thank you!

  • what to say when you see the beauty of this video you cant denie the reality of horse life..

  • When people use tack correctly, the horse is fine. When people use it wrong, it hurts the horse. Spurs are required in certain things, and everyone has bad days, so spurs are used on the LAZY HORSES WHO NEED HELP GETTING STARTED! Tackless riding s fun, and so is dressage! I ride both ways! My horse always comes running up to me in the pasture and she follows me around the property like a dog and she loveds dressage! She overextends her neck half the time!!! So quit protesting tack!!

  • @Emogothist i agree a bits and spurs have there place and ther only bad when used wrong or by in exsperianced people (i dont use spares magic dont kneed them lol ) i love natural horemanship aswell because it shows you dont kneed all that

  • han er bare for sej !!! men dem der rider med bid lad vær i ødelægger jers hest !!!

  • the 28 people who dislike this probably are the riders of the pictures in the beginning of the vid

  • the 28 people who dislike this video probably are the riders of the pictures in the beginning of the vid

  • To all who think bits/ spurs/ saddles do NOT do any harm to the horse, please check out this website and read the "articles" section. I shared your opinion until I read these articles. It really is mind blowing.

  • What this guy can do is cool and everything, but bits and spurs are not wrong. Read what both TindraTinker and AnitaUhh both said. They are so right!!

  • @brooklyn1311 i agree bits and spares are only wrong when used wrong or by in exsperianced riders

  • @mehavebesthorse

    love your writing skills!

  • @psico334 wat do u mean u love my writing skills

  • this video has just made me deside to use a bit-less bridle.

  • amazing video, i like it very mutch!

  • Classical riders are all about the partnership with the horse and the horse being a willing and active particpant in that partnership - about moving to the next level when the horse is both physically and mentally able. You can be a wonderful horse owner/rider and use traditional aids like bridles/spurs - where pain is inflicted on the horse they are not being used correctly. Natural Horsemanship has its place but the are other methods just as good.

  • @AnitaUhh

Unfortunately, there are way too many equestrians who don't.

And guess who gets injured? The horse does.

  • Nevzorov loves controversy, so he found another topic besides politics for this decade.

To whomever edited this video: friend ship - корабль друг; friendship - дружба.

With that being said, some people ride horses as a hobby, have different careers. So the those who can't devote their entire life to training one horse, reserve to bits and spurs, saddles and bridles , whips and carrots. However, some can't do anything right, don't use them as an example!

  • how do the pictures of horses falling have anything to do with bits and spurs?

  • people who use spurs, wips of bits are just people who don't even deserve to be anywhere near a horse! people who do this deserve to feel the same pain that they inflict on a horse!!!!

  • so true ...

  • Instead of going between two extremes, why doesn't anyone suggest that riders get extensive training on quiet hands, bringing the horse along slow so that they build the right muscles, and the horrible dangers and consequences of over flexing a horse. Better yet why not put a camera in the warm up ring or have the judge or aid watch for ignorant riders. AnitaUhh was spot on, get over it - I say do something about it

  • nevzorov is a liar.

  • dibili

  • ti polniy dibil Nevzorov!!!

  • wow beautiful clip...lovely song do u know the name :3 ?

  • I love Nevzorov's work. I think he is brilliant! Being an English rider for over 14 years though, I can say I have never hurt a horse using a bridle. We use simply the most gentle bits on our horses. However, I would love to learn this type of natural horsemanship. If you really want something to protest though, check out horse slaughter..that will turn your stomach. I feel that is more important than bits and spurs. Check out the video "Horse slaughter and Mexico" and tell me I am wrong.

  • @ZeeGeeTeem you are wrong about all this ...nevzorov just beats his horses like punching bag!!! some peoples spyed them a couple of weeks ..and they saw him beating his horses !!! of course they are good ..because if they are not ..they will be beated up!!

  • @larcya bye the way ....nevzorov just putted them in machines in thus they were in that possitions for whole day!!! you admire him but he is a piece of selfish torturing man!!

  • @ZeeGeeTeem actually Nevzorov isn't all that great. i would like to see him do all that without a whip and rope around the horses neck. now THAT would be amazing, but seriously how do you think he got tohse horses to pick up their feet and arch their necks?

not a miracle anyway and if he was a true horseman he wouldn't have a whip in his hand.

  • @BeaverShrew "arch his neck??"

    Are you kidding...?

If you cannot identify the horses' movements and way of going, do not display your ignorance.

AN rarely if ever uses a whip. Most often he carries a hawthorn twig which breaks very easily.

And I believe there is ample footage of AN working at liberty w/o the cordeo. It is not uncommon.

And no, it is no miracle. It is simple common sense, love, equality.

    Simple. No secrets.

  • ok umm.... DO YOU THINK MOST STYLES OF RIDIN WOULD BE THE SAME WITHOUT BITS AND SPURS LIKE POLO OR JUMPING. DO YOU THINK PEOPLE WOULLD HAVE CHILDREN UP ON HORSES WITHOUR AND MEENS OF CONTROL. i think the school is amazing dont get me wrong up bits and spurs arent a bad thing with a good rider and all the pics at the end and of horses falling that has like nothing to do with the bit in there would or the spurs lettting the speed increase

  • @ASBprincess101 so you are saying that you ride only using your hands and spurs? that your legs and seat are not aids? if you break a horse in bridleless, or bitles, then they will stop just as easily as they would with a bit. have you never seen horses with a bit bolt or do something they arent meant to? soo could you please think before you comment next time. and most riders will hurt horses with bits and spurs, you have to be absolutely amazing not to. its why i want to swap to bridleless.

  • Oh My Gosh! This is the last time I can see a video protesting bits and spurs. I will make is simple.. A bit WHEN USED CORRECTLY helps establish a connection between mouth and hand.. and should not ever be painful. And spurs.. oh my gosh. Spurs WHEN USED CORRECTLY are an extention of the leg and are used for more precise movements and a depth in training. Anything cause pain, in the wrong hands. GET OVER YOURSELVES. Some of us equestrians know how to use these tools properly ,not like in the vid

  • @AnitaUhh He's a fake anyhow who is really harsh with a bit in daily life.

  • @AnitaUhh i agree with you, you don't properly use your leg when you have spurs on and anyway, most spurs allowed in events could cause no harm to a horse and have rubber on them.

  • @AnitaUhh

    It is simple.

Even used "correctly" these tools are for one purpose only: to cause pain.

They can be used lightly when the horse learns that if he does not respond immediately, he will experience more pain.

The memory of pain is a very strong training tool.

  • @AnitaUhh I agree.

  • @AnitaUhh Anita, sadly most horses are actually bothered by bits, even the simplest snaffle. I agree that dressage spurs are used as an extension of the leg, but one way or the other, having metal inside the horses mouth is unnatural and uncomfortable for them. You are incorrect in believing the bit is required to establish an "connection". The horse can collect and respond without it. True equestrians do not need it. Youtube search "the effects of bits part 1" for more info.

  • @AnitaUhh AGREED!!! i think its because these teenagers see pics of their heroes not riding as greatly as all their ribbons and medals would suggest. There is a lot of evil in the equestrian world, bits and spurs are the least of the problems. Sterioids, no trot up in showjumping i think is BS, painkillers, bute, injections....I wont even get into the breed show horses that never see light nor grow a winter coat. bigger picture at work here...

  • @AnitaUhh I totally agree! If somebody use a belt to hurt his children that dosent meant that all belts are used for that!

  • Anything people ever do with a horse is 'unnatural' As they are essentially wild/ unpredictable animals! But this will never change, the equine industry is huge and makes a lot of money! So everyone should find their own way, and find out what their horses prefer! E.g. we could never use these methods with our Riding for the Disabled horses, as our riders need special saddles for support! This doesnt mean to say our horses are hurt and mistreated! Infact they are the most papmperd horses ever!

  • umm why don't you learn to spell?

  • no sommerlas

  • plus i agree with what you wrote =]

  • Yet in this video you are saying useing bits are bad yet snaffles are the softest 3/4 of this video is freak acciednts

  • @ShowJumpingGirl103 no snaffles aren't!!! They have a nut cracker feeect on the horse.

  • it depends on the type of snaffle, if you are refferng to french link snaffles then yes, they are the softest, but single jointed snaffles have a hideos nutcracker action on the tongue and the roof of the mouth.

  • it's true that some people do yank on their horses mouth, but's that's not right!

if your correctly taught how to ride, you can use a bit and spurs correctly, without doing any harm to the horse. this video over exaturates WAY WAY WAY TO MUCH

  • The horrible parts make me want to scream at the top of my lungs-aaaaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhh!

But does anybody ever listen anyway?

Bits, shoes, whips, tie ups, tie downs, stables, hobbling and the list goes on and on-at least Nevzorov is listening to the horse.

  • Okay, I find natural horsemanship very impressive and would love to try it myself.

At the same time, you assume too much. My dressage horse and I could do both: bit and saddle or bareback and bridleless.

There seems to be a war breaking out between both sides. I have an idea:

Traditional riders, try to see the value in natural horsemanship.

Natural riders, stop assuming all traditional riders mistreat their horses and don't have a partnership.

  • This video represents ignorance of true horsemanship. Horsemanship can be achieved with or without bit, just because you can do some circus tricks with a horse it doesn't mean that that's the only way to achieve harmony.

And showing children as bad examples? That child in 2:04 is just learning, it takes a lot of mistakes to learn, so shame on you for using a child as an example...

  • I believe that the point of that picture was to demonstrate how even a child can hurt a horse with a relatively mild bit. It's very obvious that the horse is in pain and it's still not fair to the horse, that fact that the rider is young is irrelevant. Her trainer should have shown her how to be gentler to the horse's mouth.

  • @DonaAninhas I agree. We all learned one day and we all hurt a horse's mouth or else, some tend to forget a bit quickly that they were beginners once!!! As for the pictures shown in the video, many are out of context; blood in the mouth is one thing but many pictures are just "instant moments" out of context and deserve to be further explained before any judgement is provided. The violence expressed by some here, particularly so-called horseme, is questioning their... horsemanship!!

  • good video, but i don't think 2:04 is appropriate, that poor child doesn't mean any harm!

  • if everyone one here REALLY cares as much as they say that they do i'm guessing that they love animals. and you're all a bunch of hypocrites if you eat meat. the dressage horses are treated SO WELL. they have to be in TOP shape to perform. maybe you should start caring about REAL problems like slaughter houses and the horses shipped there.

  • :-*

  • But I think that the girl in 2:01 is to young to think about what she can do with a horse...

  • This video is the truth....

  • I really love this video! It shows me true friendship! The horses do the things he ask them to do because they want to do it. They are not doing it because they know that if they do it wrong, they will be punished. So shut up, you negative people! Use your eyes, use your brain. Don't you see the message in this video?

Nevzorov is such an important person in the "horseworld". He is the best!

  • in 2:02 she is only small girl and i really think that the she love her pony but she just pull reins wrong!

  • Amazing video!!!

  • Still, the girl at 1:18 has something in her hand.. Looks like a stick... Hmmmmmm........

  • if you research into what overbending /rollkur does to a horse, and what effect the bit has, you would all know that a rider CAN force a horse to work. Of corse they can. They can't fight back. It is compared to a policeman bending you arm behind your back in a hard grip and saying "dance", you response will be "yes, sir" even if it's very difficult and painful!

  • This is really nonsense...

I am a dressage rider and I think the way Anky van Grunsven her horse rides is very good, I mean, if that horse don't want to work for her why is he doing it than??? He is so much stronger dan her, he doesn't have to do it!

I'm sorry, but I think this video is a piece of shit, that's my opinion...

  • She might be a good rider, otherwiese, she would not win all these prices.

But she is an animal abuser, too. Have a look at the videos where she uses hyperflexion and how she abuses the curb to "train" her horse. If she were a good ride and real horse friend, she would not do that as then she would care much more about her horses than prices.

  • okay. i can ride my horse with a halter and shes great, but i also ride her with a bit.

  • @ottopasquier I have a dressage horse that I can ride with a saddle and a bit or bareback and without any bit. Dressage can be perfect harmony between horse and rider, so go back to the circus with your little tricks and when you know something about real horses come back to criticize.

  • Portugal ??? Dona aninhas, of course you come from Portugal were horses are ridden with such brutality , of course your fat ass needs a saddle and a bit because you have no balance and no concept of anything just water skiing holding your horse in a double. I understand Ottopasquier , nowadays all you have is fat asses middled aged bitches like you who have cannot even get on a horse without a mounting block and are scared shitless if the horse slightly spook . Shut teh fuck up bitch

  • Welll, I'm not middle aged, sorry, and yes, I come from Portugal where unfortunately there are a lot of terrible riders who ride the horses with brutality, and of course we have bullfighting, which is disgraceful, for both bull and horse (specially horse) but I can ride my horse bitless and without a saddle if necessary, he's just not a circus horse and I don't see the point...

  • So if you think to be so genious try to do the same courbettes, caracol, free collection with correct muscules tension and strengthening, - why not if you claim so much???

For this "highly-intellectual" standard sport dressage even now the most dificult stuff is to make the horse turn in tempoXD.... So where is ART to work with a horse???

  • Some person called me a retard for saying that most riders use hard bits for absolutely no reason. How lame can people be?How blind? This is the reason I want to take my horse home at my yard and not at a school. I want to be able to truly connect with my horse

  • its a very cool video!!

  • I think its an amacing video!

It gives me something to think about!! (:

  • i hate people like that and i use a very soft bit for the horses and if they wanna go somewere ese i let em thx for makeing this vidio tho 'O' BYE

  • The rules in the upper level dressage forces riders to use double bridles. If you are such a great rider, why would you need sharper bits? BUT.. a good rider can ride with any sort of bit without hurting the horse, and there are some horses who love to compete. True friendship is not just being able to ride without tack, it's understanding the horse, knowing what hurts it and what it loves. It's not the tack that hurts the horses, it's the riders who use them wrong that hurts them

  • @TindraTinker Wery well put :)

  • @CloudStrife2014 Thank you :) Glad to see that there are so many who are concerned about horses, no matter how they choose to act against horse cruelty. :)

  • @TindraTinker He is a fake. I have pics to prove it. He uses bridles and uses them harshly.

  • @cowgirl22hannah iv always found it odd that if he has such a close bond with his horses then why on earth do they always look like they want to take a chunk out of him lol

  • i love this movie,its realy good

it inspired me and now i ride bitles to

but i ve two horses and one of them is a real difficult (dont now another word for her) horse so i do understand also that you sometimes can be mad on youre horse but i never treat them like some people in the movie

  • I use to do this with my mare and it was the WORST she got pushy she would buck and kick out.. because all it is is giving treats for every single little offer your horse makes .. or the second he even leans to teh way u want they get a treat! I decided to go with Parelli Natural Horsemanship! And forever will be with their program!

  • i think this vid is great and i agree with it and a would also like to do it but i dont know how to start _does it cost anything?-where is it? do u go riding out bitless to ? has anyone got any advice? but anyway i at the momment ride my horse in a snaffle but i only use it lighty on a lose rein but i think it depends how you use the bit in a horses and people would not need strong bits on horses if they mounth them up proberly.and its the people who make the horses be strong. but i luv the vid

  • Bits are fine. But really strong bits are stupid. Some horses are strong so you use a stronger but than a snaffle but if you go much over that its just being lazy. People just cant be botherd to put the effort in. Lovely video:D:D

  • but if you watch horses in the feild they will arch their necks and rear when they r playing or something, and that is what dressage is ment to be, the horse arrying his/her rider in a proud way, performing the tasks the rider asks for happily. sadly people think of spurs as harsh weapons to force the horse to listen, but they r ment to be like a note being passed between friends, a silent way of asking your horse to do something for you.

  • it is beautiful and peaceful riding horse without any tack, me and my horse do that in our free time(without the rearing and lying don and stuff) people have gotten so serious about compottions they sometimes foget about what theyre horse wants. bits are not bad tho, i ride dressage and real dressage is about the horse and rider as one. but i think some competetors forget that and they force the horses head down into an awkward position...............

  • i dont think its wrong to use bits, its just the rider that causes the problems when they pull so hard on the horses mouth but i defnatly do not agree with spurs there horrible. i use to do natural horsemanship with my old horse sally

  • It's sad that little children that still ride miniature ponies are actually abusing their ponies by pulling on the bit so hard....

  • i agree but not all of us know how to do this i don't but i want to learn!

  • me too (:

  • it's so horrible!

how can people do that with their horses?

but the pics without a bridle are wonderful.

THIS is harmonie an dthis is riding!

(sorry for the bad english i am german(= )

  • bei dem 2 bild den zensiert streifen im gesicht hättest da sparen könne des sieht ma eh das des die blöde anky is die rollkur köningin! aber der rest nach dem rumgezerre in den bildern der haammmmmma ...lg

  • Really Amazing Video. Good Message. Even though it is not always possible to work 100% Nevozorov like, it should be a guideline.

  • actually, if used correctly, spurs can be kinder than a traditional leg aid.

  • that is your opinion its kind using spurs have you asked the horse whether they like it, horses are so sensitive that they can feel a fly land on them and they twitch to get the fly off them the thing is the horse shuts down after repetivly using aids that katymego describe and ignor the human i've seen horses refuse to move with people yanking and kicking horses obviously spurs are not the solution to any horses "problem" that they may have with you

  • yes, horses to tune out leg aids, including spurs, if they are used incorrectly. but would you rather a tap on the shoulder (which is how a spur aid should feel like) or a kick in the side? i'm talking about spurs being used as a finessing aid, not to make the horse go faster.

and don't assume we're all horse abusers or are not adept at understanding and working through issues just because other's have opinions that differ from yours.

  • I understand that you put at the beginning pictures of horses and their riders in "fighting". But as everyone know's there are so much people how ride with bit and spurs and they don't have fight's like that. And at 2:04 you show a little girl but i think she is learning to ride and not zo work like that on a horse.

  • i wonder if he's been training these horses himself or are they dressagehorses from the beginning and he just found some other ways to train them...and i must agree with vigneault67! And what about the security without bits...Do you think you can control a big draft horse if it finds out it wanna have some fun if you just got a rope around his neck? Not every horses can be ridden without bits or whips. A horse i rided once did not behave at all if we rided him without whip!

  • And you always think about horse as about a big piece of meat?

  • no? did i say so?

  • Horse has its mind, its soul, its heart, and every problem that any human faces in realtions with it is entirely his own rider's fault.

Of course, horse has emotions but they are never without reason. So if a horse is against smth YOU first must know what that happens.... and not hurry up to use a whip and pulling bit. Force is never the way out....

  • if you notice that guy rides with a whip, a bit and spurs are not bad things, yes some people make them bad things but if everybody rode like this guy there would also be people abusing the use of the rope round the horses neck and the whip in hand.

  • horses arent dogs, horses are adapted to fight or flight,we need to act like them and gain a relationship,my horse was abused when i got her at two she was already being ridden and jumped and was severely underweight, she is what people call lazy she isnt she is a left brain introvert so i adapted myself to meet her needs, people use bits to make them stop and whips to make them go im not suprise the horse you talk about is like this its confused, its taken me 6mnths to ride my horse bitless

  • i did not say that horses are dogs, did i? i agree that we gotta get a relationship with the horse. We can't communicate if not. That's where the wrong use of bits, wip and spurs get's in the picture! i use bit and wip. But not to force the horse, but to communicate with the horse. I use the bit to show it where i wanna go and to make it rais it's back. And i use the wip to make it raise it's legs or to get it forwars, IF it's a slow horse! but i do not hit the horse like many do!

  • I don't think all of those pictures are crulety... Some of them are just accidents, just horse falls and stuff. I don't know the sorces where you got these thinsg from. Also, I think this guty is great, but bits arnt evil. Many ponies and horses are happy with the bits. i think its exaggeration to say that they are evil. I ride withs bits, and its just about care and respect, not always about pretty tricks, there more than one type of bond :]

  • Made me Cry! I've watched one of his Videos and it was really upsetting.

  • and a nother thing, I can ride 5 other of are horses bridle less, and none are the same, horses`are very smart, there only mindless if you make and forse them,

    awesome video! I totally agree!

  • Ok. I have been though all the comment on here, and for some that say not all horses can learn this are wrong, any horse can, it's the people. not the horses, people are the ones that have the hard time, and yes, all horses are not the same, that is why you watch and see what they like, and do, or learn stuff like this or parelli, and people, really anyone can learn this, I'm 14 years old, and I can do alot of stuff in this video rideing bridle less and laying horse down etc,

  • I use a bit, but not like the poeple shown in the video. My horse trusts me, I treat her with care and respect. We have fun together. I can't do any cool tricks with my horse and I can hardly control her when I'm using just one little string around. But to me, it's about having fun and treating your horse with respect, it's not about cool tricks... I don't believe horses care for that. Just showing some pretty tricks doesn't proof to me that you've got a great bond with your horse.

  • Oh yeah just one more thing... I believe it's a good thing to listen to what other people know and think about horses. Knowing some psychological stuff is good, but don't just go with it and do and believe everyone some horse-guru might be saying. Use your own mind and experience =]

  • Not all bits are the devil you know... You could use a pull bit, which is no bit, or maybe a pole bit which is basically no bit as well. Just because I can't get my horse to contort in strange ways while I'm on his back, doesn't mean that he doesn't love me. Such bullshit, I may ride with a bit, but my horse also loves me.

  • So these "bits"you mentioned arent even bits? So there IS something doubting abour "real"bits? Imagine you had metal in your mouth and you had to stay "in contact", besides, horses mouth has much more senestive nerves... This is not a strange way its the key of keeping horse well - collection. No movers are "must to" neither fot you or your horse. If your horse loves you why should you need a bit? Check out the NHE website ;) There are some quite good articles...

  • Nice typos by the way.

    Educate yourself please.

  • What a funny video! It's so untrue it's hilarious!

    LOL LOL LOL LOL

Bits and spurs and whips are only bad if you make them bad lol idiots!

  • Shows the obvious whats always been around and is unfortunately still around and accepted by the beep beep beeps in our world. IF you have a clue and learn the language you dont need the cruel bits etc.. daaaaa! Cold hearted snobs!! Hope they all get what they give in life.

  • HAhahahahaha funny video laughed all the time x''''D

  • TOUGH BITS AND SPURS!

Ok honestly get over it people spurs bits whips ect are only bad if you make them bad!

If u use them kindly and rewarding the horse ect ect they are an amazing thing so im getting sick of all this shit about how spurs and all that is bad shut up!

  • i think this video is unfair as most of the horses in this video that are being 'misunderstood' and dont 'love' their rider, are still learning horses and the pictures are obviously from a bad day in most cases. i still belive in natural horsemanship though, don't get me wrong.

  • i think this stuff is really quite amazing. i do.

but i'm an eventer and i know my horse loves what we do. go watch andreas helgstrand and blue hors matine. watch the whole thing. you CANNOT tell me that mare doesn't love her job.

  • EFA eventing at high stategs requires you to wear spurs...

but i must say i love what this guy is doing.

  • also des stimmt ja schon das es viele gibt die die pferde nich mit respekt behandeln aber deswegen tret ich sicher nich in den öko club ein !! weil das is genausowenig die natur des pferdes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To do haute ecole is a science but we can learn very easy with some basic horse knowlege not to use things like whip, spurs or bits.

Its just about knowing about horse psycology.

    Great Video.

All our horses in our shows are ridden without bit, spurs and whip!!!

  • Awesome video!

  • congodeluxe there is a website called 'the art of natural dressage' They use Alexanders methods. Also they post youtube vids of different exersises.

  • Picture At 0:41..

The Horse Had His Tongue OVER the Bit.. Hence The Horses Weird Look. You Can Actually SEE That The Bit is UNDER the Tongue.. Also The Reins Arent Even Tight.. Some Horses WILL Put Their Tongueas Over The Bit To Evade It. Horse Is In A Dutch Gag.. Nout Wrong With It. Besides Its On The Second Loop NOT Third.. You Also Have Pictures Of Horses That Have Been Schooled Using Rollkur

  • Ok, who use bits and spurs are horrible people, but we can´t do the Nevzorov Method if you don´t teach us. Please mmake a video where we can see how these excellent things are done...

  • maybe you micht try to buy a sidepull without bit...

i do it too becaus i dont know how to do it too

  • You have to sign up for his forum and basically try it yourself. I did a lot of research trying to learn, but once I realized how ridiculously strict, hostile and ridiculous it was, I went back to my favorite trainer, Hempfling. You have to do everything exactly as Nevzorov says, and you're apparently a terrible person if you ever ride any other way.

  • If you want more information though, go to his website. I don't know it offhand but if you google it you'll find it. He goes into pretty good depth about what you have to do to join. I do wish I could do what he does, but the way he says you have to achieve it is nearly impossible!

  • what a thin horse at 2:22:O

  • Also not all of us can learn this technique because our horse is too strong headed or something like that...

  • too understand you would have to research, no matter what your horse would like it would work, it is now a case of just getting on with a cordeo, it takes a year of ground work to build up a relationship like that. in theory it would work with any horse. my mare was strong headed an we did the year an wer able to ride free:) x

  • Du ska sluta snacka så mycket skit, din jävla hynda!

  • Secondly-& it IS a pet peeve of mine, but before people post videos critiquing anyone on any subject I wish the posters would use SPELL CHECK..Hello..SUCCESS is not all that tough to get correct.
