@ravindernathwani It is on DVD. Except you have to pay some crazy price like $40 dollars for one episode. It's sold through an educational video company, and usually it's schools and libraries that purchase these. The high price is the licensing rights to show and/or lend out a copy.
He also did voices on the early Rankin-Bass shows "The New Adventures of Pinocchio" and "Tales of the Wizard of Oz" (both of which ran early in the morning on CFTO's "Cartoon Playhouse", back in the '70s.
What's really shocking though, is that he and the other "Rudolph..." voice actors only got royalties for 5 years after the first airing. So they haven't gotten a penny since 1969, despite all those reruns and sales of merchandise & home videos, all using their original voice recordings.
@OofusTwillip They're lucky they got that much. A lot of people do these kinds of jobs where they get paid the fee for the one time, and that's it. Unless they had some huge production credit, like writer or producer, I don't think most performers got much in residuals.
@phillydisco - I'm one of those people who did voices on something for a single buyout fee. I did 31 voices on the 2004 series of "Mighty Machines", which was non-union (as am I, still), and on a very tight budget. It's still airing (as is a subsequent series of it, that I didn't work on), and it's still very popular on DVDs.
Even though I don't get residuals for it, it's still really cool to be able to say, "I worked on that!" and to hear from people whose kids love it so much.

Carl Banas, who voiced Mr. Big, also voiced Schaffer the Dog from the Raccoons and the grumpy head elf from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
